Someone who coached him HS told a friend of mines when we were recruiting Gibson that Gibson should definitely go to UM because without his local support system, he would surely fail. This dude was a prophet. The guy said Gibson was way too immature to go off on his own and succeed.

Now look, eventually this kid will make his way back to South Florida(because everywhere else most likely sucks for a Florida kid) and be that superior athlete who couldnt cut it from making a poor decision when everyone advised against it. Now he's getting no love from the home town bc he turned his back and went to our rivals. It's a long fall from the top and I'm curious to see if this kid has the drive and mentality to bounce back bc he easily has the talent. But I don't see it.
