TOP PROSPECTS FOR 2014 DRAFT

MoSikes....

Bridgewater ain't going in the top 10 picks.

Matt Barkley and Geno Smith are far superior prospects to Bridgewater. The Manuel pick was a joke. 1st year head coach and GM retires AFTER draft. Buffalo is the worst organization in football right now.

Sorry.

Haha at Barkley being a better prospect then Bridgewater. Please stop posting.

I don't see a **** thing funny about that. It's at the bare minimum debatable.

Barkley had a noodle arm, no mobility, and has shown questionable decision making dating back to HS. I was preaching this since his FR year.

Bridgewater is 5x the prospect Barkley every was.

Bridgewater is not a top flight NFL QB prospect.

Geno Smith is a much better prospect and look what happened to him.

The NFL has gotten alot smarter about their QB selections post Jamarcus Russell and Akili Smith.

Geno dropped because he was big whiny baby and every GM and coach knew it. Dude wouldn't get of his phone when in meetings with NFL teams. LOL

Nobody is a lock at this point because injuries happen, bad seasons happen. But if Teddy has another good year, he will be a top 10 pick for sure. He most likely will given the **** *** conference he is playing in.

Teddy all through last season was getting recognized as a future top 10 pick and unless he regresses he has a very good chance to go top 2 with Clowney.

Morris is probably a 2nd/3rd rounder at this point and if he develops his consistency he can possibly be a first rounder.

Morris is a long way from a 2nd/3rd round grade. He has to prove he can be consistent. I don't think he even gets drafted if the draft were today. He was crazy inaccurate at times last year. He has to show he can consistently get the ball to his guys and he has to show better pocket awareness. He gets happy feet way too often when the rush comes.

You obviously don't follow the draft. Everyone I read that writes about the draft for a living has him as one of their Top 5 QBs, with the best pure arm in the draft and as a fringe first round prospect with room to move way up.

CBS has him ranked as the 8th best Senior QB. That is not counting underclassmen like Teddy and Manziel who would be taken ahead of him. Last year there was 11 QBs drafted. It is borderline whether he gets drafted or not at this point in time. Mel Kiper released his top group of QBs and Morris was the 3rd name in his "more I like section" after he ranked his top 10. If that is in order Morris is 13th, again borderline at this point in time.

Not hating on Morris because I think he can and will move up but right now he has too many flaws on tape. He has to improve.

As it relates to the big east. They played some tough defenses. Wins and losses are one thing but they had some pretty good defensive units out there which is what NFL scouts are looking at.

If you have a good defense and a horrible offense you won't win many ball games. See Michigan State in 2012.

Last season defense rankings from the big east.
Rutgers #4
Cincinnati #12
Pittsburgh #21
Connecticut #23
Louisville #37

All of those teams had guys going to the league from their defenses. Uconn and Pitt could have won a lot more ball games if they had an offense.
Yes I know its the big east but if you play good d you can play in any conference my source Bowling Green vs FLA last season. Bowling Green had a top 10 d and their defense played a **** of a game against UF.

So when the scouts see Teddy they look at everything. Including him play against top defenses and working them.

Bridgewater will definitely be a top 10 pick, in this man's estimation.

How?

One dude is like 6'1-6'2 with a weak arm, erratic, and showed no awareness, also played with a ton of talent and aint do sh*t.

The other is a legit 6'3-6'4 225 right now. better footwork in pocket...solid arm..very accurate, mobile, and is a leader.

Barkley was a bum first time i saw him...typical 7 on 7, passing camp hyped up so.cal kid.

Not to pick on you, but I remembered this post when I was looking at CBS today. They have Morris bumped up to the #2 Sr QB and a Rd 1-2 prospect.
