I've spent a lot of time hating on Bridgewater in draft circles because of the history with UM, but he's absolutely the top guy for next year at this point. He still has a good amount of room to improve his game, but I really think that the way he has progressed so far means his JR tape should be even more impressive than his very good Soph. tape.
His greatest strength is his accuracy, but specifically just how well he locates the ball when he's on his game. The reason he's up at 68% is because he rarely forces any errors (to borrow a tennis term). He can be inconsistent with his footwork, which leads to some bad overthrows that better teams would capitalize on, but when he can step and throw he's deadly. I think his arm is passable to do everything he'll need to in the pros, even if it's not a Stafford type arm, and it shows itself better downfield than it does putting zip on intermediate throws. Athletically he's fine, and above-average to good in terms of today's NFL.
Now for a more pressing issue, I honestly think that while other QBs will certainly be more hyped heading into the year, there isn't a Sr. QB in the country more physically gifted than Stephen Morris. There are some rankings where he's sitting behind guys like Mettenberger and Thomas, two kids who are talented but are coming off mediocre at best years. If Morris wins games early this offense is going to get a lot of attention with he and Duke, and you'll hear a lot more 1st round discussion without any true locks up top.
