TOP PROSPECTS FOR 2014 DRAFT

Kid had a great soph year and won a BCS bowl game against a ''Top'' SEC defense. He should be in the top 5 for the heisman this season and a top 5 pick in the draft.

Not hating here, but no chance that he gets drafted in the top ten.

I'll take that bet.. I swore EJ Manuel wouldn't ever be a 1st round pick he went in the top 20. Bridgewater is much better and more accurate than Manuel he will go in the top 10 after Louisville kills there soft schedule this season.

Why do people still doubt Bridgewater?

Do they still see Jacory or something, dude is talented and has produced at the college level. Have seen less talented QBs get drafted high in last couple drafts.

Either way, good for him. As long as Morris produces wont really worry about him because we have a guy who is pretty Good also. good to see the state of Florida start to produce Qbs

I only put this on here because I know there are so many varying opinions of TB. Of course there are haters that wish him nothing but the worst. Then there are those that think simply because of his college success he is a star in the making. I personally think he is a product of the spread and his numbers are inflated. I think he has the tools but wouldn't be surprised either way.

Would love to hear D$'s input.

Teddy Bridgewater is a projected top 5 pick on pretty much every 2014 mock draft or list of top guys for next year's draft. His numbers from last season are not a result of a high-octane passing attack like WVU or Oklahoma. He put up similar numbers to Landry Jones, Aaron Murray and Johnny Manziel who play in pretty balance attacks.
He is a really good quarterback. His decision making and accuracy are terrific. He stands tall in the pocket, has a good sense of the pressure around him and makes great reads as well.

God help whoever passes on Clowney. No way dude should slip out of the number one spot barring injury.

Clowney is the #1 pick, I don't care who's there for QB's. With that said I would take Bridgewater over Manziel, and really believe the kids the goods. Look at the numbers, he puts points on the board and doesn't turn the ball over. My only question is arm strength, but it seems adequate at worst.

Clowney is a special player and will not be the Manti Te'o of the 2014 draft. Bridgewater is also one **** of a quarterback and will not be the Geno Smith of the 2014 draft. He is far better than Manuel, and I think he is better than Boyd as well.

These two players will be great in the league like they are in college.

I can tell you one thing....if Morris raises his Completion to high 60s and perform against FSU and UF, I'd take him over alot. He got some arm talent.

if ponder and some of the recent clowns get first round nods, then Morris is a shoe in w/ similar 2012 numbers...

It's a long way to the 2014 Draft, but Bridgewater is a Top 10 pick if the draft were held today. Pocket presence, poise and accuracy with good (not great) arm strength.

If Morris continues to improve, the 2014 draft is shaping up nicely for him. The teams I project to draft QBs early are all potential fits: Jedd Fisch is in Jacksonville, Bruce Arians in Arizona loves to throw downfield, Norv Turner in Cleveland runs a vertical passing offense, and Kubiak in Houston loves passers with some mobility.

It would be interesting to see who Jedd took if Morris plays lights out this year.

Bridgewater is not a top flight NFL QB prospect.

Geno Smith is a much better prospect and look what happened to him.

The NFL has gotten alot smarter about their QB selections post Jamarcus Russell and Akili Smith.

BTW...compare Ken Dorsey's college numbers to Bridgewaters....

They are basically the same.

Bridgewater is not mobile which will kill his NFL value. He is a 3rd - 4th rounder.
