Top 5 Juniors with the Probability they go Pro

Linder won't

Morris absolutely won't

Henderson might

Porter might (although it wouldn't be in his benefit)

Hurns absolutely won't

1. Linder 10%
2. Morris 0%
3. Henderson 75%
4. Porter 30%
5. Hurns 0%

Linder's good enough now, but I think he enjoys playing the college game and knows how high his draft status could rise with a great Senior season. Expect Linder to be on a ton of OL award watchlists going into next season. The one thing he needs to iron out--he's been guilty of some untimely offsides and holding penalties this year...to be an elite OL and highly draftable, he needs to eliminate/minimize those things.

Henderson needs another year to really get focused and seasoned as an OT, but IMO will probably go and get drafted higher than we all expect (NFL will love his measurables, and someone will reach for him at a higher spot than he should go).

Porter might be sick of getting injured while at Miami and think that a change of scenery to the NFL will help...but if/when the evaluation committee comes back with his grades, it may come back as "Incomplete", and then he'll realize he needs to put more plays on film to help his draft stock. To me--if he stays at Miami and can stay healthy for a great Senior season, he could play his way into the top 3 rounds...especially since his big knock has been durability.

No way Morris/Hurns go to the league yet. Morris had a great year, but he needs to continue his growth as a QB, both physically and mentally--and I think he is fully aware of that. Hurns hasn't had any film that showcased any major playmaking abilities to NFL scouts, so I doubt he even considers it an option to go yet.

percentages should all be 0%. Hopefully Seantrel and Porter learned from the idiots last year. Nobody else should even be thinking about going

Seantrel is the only one I am worried about. Porter will not get a draftable grade because he will be seen as injury prone. In the last 3 years he has missed 30 games while only playing in 7. He needs to show he can make it through a season before he even thinks about getting drafted.

Also, Morris told the Herald he expects everyone back. "I expect everybody to be back," quarterback Stephen Morris told Michael Casagrande of the Sun Sentinel. "I'm coming back, so I know everybody will be here. We have to get this thing rolling in the right direction."

Kind of irrelevant. It's like clockwork with underclassmen. Immediately after the season, many preach the "unfinished business" kind of thing, but when the excitement for the following year wears off and the entry deadline looms, they usually change their tune.

None of them should, especially those who have only been here for 3 years.

If you never heard anything, you wouldn't even think they would leave.

Where is this porter stuff coming from, is this some type of said it a thousand times and it becomes reality. If that kid leaves he will be on the street like Marcus F. He has been injured for long stretches of his career, he thinks game film against UVA, USF, and DUke are gonna get him drafted. When he goes for his draft grade I wont be surprised if they dont even have a profile for this kid.

I dont know who put this out there but this is the type of stuff that needs to stop at um, kid has done nothing here and wants to leave early, child please.

Atleast Seantrel has film and measurables that can possibly make a gm take a chance on him in the 3rd round or something, he would be better advised to come back but atleast he has a leg to stand on. Everyone else, get in the weight room

This Porter stuff is BS. Nobody really said he is leaving.

SeanTay declared before he even hit the locker room after the 04 Orange Bowl.

The bigger point is that none of these guys are anywhere near good enough to consider declaring. Who is going to draft someone in the first two days that has never even started a complete season.

I think all the percentages are too low on Henderson. He was always mentioned as a 3-year guy and no reason to believe that won't hold up. Everything drifts back to the beginning.

Notice he lost considerable weight this season. That's looking to the NFL. The one thing that kills an offensive tackle's draft status is a flabby belly. Invariably those guys are drafted lower than the forecast, no matter what they accomplish in the offseason or at the combine. Cordy Glenn was last year's example.

I expect Henderson to declare early, get in even better shape, and be drafted earlier than anyone projects.
