I know I'm captain obvious with the post, but this is finally the year where D'Nofrio has absolutely no where to point his finger if Miami is not ranked AT LEAST 25 in total defense. This is not 2012 where there was a youth movement and lack of depth of defense. This is not 2013 where you had several guys on defense who had no business starting, but were only starting because they were seniors. Rather, this year features too many talented pass rushers from AQM, McCord, a young Trent Harris, Darrion Owens and Chad Thomas. Also much better athleticism and speed at LB with the likes of Perryman, Figs, Grace, Kirby and a young Juwon Young along with several of the DE's able to stand up as well. As for the DB's, I can honestly say, there is not a college football program out there that OVERALL has more talent at the positions than Miami does right now and I dare somebody to break it down for me if they disagree. The key for Miami is steady DT play from the likes of Pierre, Moore, Wyche, Hamilton, Big Hert etc. and every other position can truly dominate (I know, captian obvious). Right now, Miami has thee most talent on defense in the entire ACC Coastal, even more than Bud Foster's Lunch Pail Kids. There's no way Miami finishes behind anyone in the Coastal in total defense. Where do you guys think Miami will finish in total defense?
