Something has to change with our off season program. I don't know if we need to get on that juice or something similar, maybe Swasey does suck, but the difference between the raw power and explosiveness of their DL/OL compared to ours is startling. Huge gap right now.

Also the types of players 'Bama recruits, too. Lots of violence at impact...that's part coaching and S+C, but a lot of that has to do with the mentality of the player they are recruiting.

Yup. You obviously need to have a legit S&C programing, but this is partly why kids like Deon hit hard as ****. Has nothing to do with their size...ol boy is under 200 lbs. Kid just seems like he loves to hit people. Seems like Golden is recruiting more of these types of kids, which is a good sign for the future.

Need the guys up front still. Team lacks the war daddys.

So does swasey suck? And if he does why doesnt golden get rid of him. Are the stories about former players asking golden to save swasey true?

Oh no doubt. We got 300+ lb OL who don't act like it and I don't even need to mention the DL. I'm just happy that at least our DB's and LB's seem to be sticking people again. It's progress compared to the soft-asses we have had at those positions as of late.

You think Swasey is legitimately an issue? I honestly have no opinion or knowledge on this.

Check out pics of Cooper at MNW & compare it to now. That's less than a year & it looks like 2 different ppl. Some ppl are talking bout lighter faster players. But what happens when the players are bigger & just as fast?
