Hey Genron: I'll give you 75% profits for a documentary about the schools who buy kids. You'll never have to work a day in your life again, as a true revealing documentary would be a massive hit. I'm dead serious.

Anybody who has evidence, PM me, I'm legitimately considering pursuing this, but need real examples.

count me in for funding this

I'll back this idea. Put it together. Time for dudes to start coming up with real facts, and we can fund a documentary on it.

If serious, I would be in to help finance. What recourses/experience do you have?

you should not throw out that 75 percent number yet.. you want to get as many people in the know to be a part of it,..percentage for each "revealer" will not be known till you know how many people are on board.. But potential for money is decent for the talkers.

Have we ever just lost a player, or no? Are they always getting paid or carrying a .2 GPA with a 12 SAT?

Also, If LSU and other SEC schools are throwing around money, I'm interested to know how we held them off for kids they were hard after like Burns, Carter, Bush, etc.

You might want to be careful what you ask for. The meat market of So Fla recruiting has some real sketchy characters. Many of these "advisors" and "mentors" have some real shady backgrounds. Not speaking about Jon Drummond per say, but some of the "advisors" and people involved with some of these 7 on 7 teams, have criminal backgrounds, there are dope dealers that get involved in paying kids in HS in SO Fla. Guys that run betting operations affiliated with teams as young as Optimist level. This has been going on for a long time, and my understand is its gotten MUCH much worse.

YOu may want to clear it with some folks before you show up at Traz Powell or in MB with some cameras to interview cats during the 7 on 7s in some of these places.

I suggested in another thread that we all chip in and instead of a "*************" banner we hire a PI to follow that dude around and get the real skinny.

Yes we lose players. Every team does. But there are certain players that teams will go all in for. Especially when a team feels a desperate need at a position.

Dude you really need to do some research and some reading. This isnt some "urban legend" here. Go read what Goetz has said about what 7 v 7 has become. The Dwayne Bowe and Patrick Peterson situations were CONFIRMED by multiple people with ties to both sides, including people who had contacts in the Hecht.

LSU is a great team and has a lot of allure. They dont have to buy every kid. But when there is a kid they REALLY need and REALLY want, they will do whatever it takes to get the kid.

Go read what Ricky Seals Jones' and his father said about when they went to UT. The whole **** staff basically told them they would be set for life if he went to UT. And that was nothing compared to the programs that were offering 6 figures if he signed with them.

Buddy of mine that I have worked with for over a decade was a former OL for Bama. Said they would have their pockets stuffed with cash and envelopes with cash after every game by the boosters. He knew guys whose parents were bought houses, cars, all kinds of sh*t. I got drunk a few years back with a big time UGA booster who pretty much told me flat out he was dropping big money to buy players for UGA.

It happens.

Not every kid who goes elsewhere or decommits was bought off. But there are some warning signs and red flags you can pick up on when things are getting shady. The involvement of a notorious street agent as an "advisor" is a HUGE red flag. As are very strange developments with a kid's recruiting. When you see our staff suddenly back off a kid, or distance themselves from a recruit, or a program, its a good bet that something has been said that has scared them off. That's what happened with Bowe when the Grandma basically told them what they were being offered by LSU and what UM was going to have to pony up if they wanted him.

I keep telling you guys. It wont change anything. UM cannot blow the whistle on this, because too many people in So Fla profit from it. Even the kids who dont take money, or who do come here, they have friends, family, coaches, people they know from these communities and schools who HAVE gotten the hook up, and if some of those people get jacked up, the blowback and bad blood will come back at UM. I mean the likeliest situation is that some of these kids will lose eligibility, and their families, friends, coaches, and these hustlers will hold UM responsible. It will make it even HARDER for UM to recruit in these schools and communities.

UM is in a no win situation. It cant blow the whistle, and it also cant compete with some of the big $$ being thrown around. And look, I dont think UM has always been pristine and clean in this situation, but right now, I think we are. After the Shaprio mess, the NCAA and media all over us, and being on probation, they have to watch every step, so they cant do ANYTHING right now to fight dirty like some of these other programs.

Got it, so only kids we beat them out for, THOSE are the ones who weren't being offered money by other schools.

Lol we are currently serving penalties for paying recruits. You dig around you might not like what you find.

Who said anything about UM blowing up relationships?

We collect some money. We have someone look into a few of these **** bags. Incriminating info is given to an investigative journalist. Rinse and repeat for the rest.

Name names then, let's go. Since you're another one who supposedly knows right?

so you consider Shapiro as "we"…?

we all know that the systems and structure set up for that good ole boy money to flow to recruits is different in SEC country than ANYWHERE else!

WhatTheHell:

STFU for a second. IF this ish is going down (which most people with a brain can see), I think it'd be a fascinating story.

I think people would be legitimately shocked at what goes on, and since Miami will never play the game this way under Shalala, it would help this school if this ish was exposed. How bout trying to accomplish something instead of constantly saying what we all know.

Other schools don't have to break out the duffle bags when you're 22-15, 13-11, and 0-1.
