Titans Staff Worked out Cam Ward today

AAS knows she's made some mistakes (and taken some heat for it the past 2 years), but there's no doubt she's an owner that wants the team to succeed.

Titans have holes no doubt (hence the #1 pick), but they've made solid moves, IMO. OL was rebuilt with solid vets and RB were great last year. Our biggest hole is WR, where there isn't a solid WR2 or WR3. They'll either draft WR or EDGE with pick 35, depending on how the draft falls.
Looks like Titans have a top 30 visit with Tennessee WR Dont'e Thornton on April 15. At 6-5, Thornton ran a 4.30 at the Combine
and a top 30 visit withTexas WR Isaiah Bond. They have two picks in Rounds 4, 5, 6. Also pick #35, but most think they will take an Edge player there.

another WR

I'm scared to take WR at #35 tbh. The organization has a poor history of drafting and retaining talent at the position - i.e., look at us trading Brown to the Eagles.

I think they are looking for 4th-5th. Unless they try to get multiple picks, including a 3rd, for #35. Seems like most writers and podcasters assume they will use 35 for an edge guy.

Read an interesting take to watch SF at 11. They seem reluctant to sign Purdy to a big extension and might wanna work out a trade for the #1 pick and include Purdy to TN

Canes fan in Nashville, I will re-iterate, anyone with football acumen who lives here wants Cam Ward as the next Titans QB. Will Levis is not a well received person and his performance isn't good enough to excuse that. That is why talks have 180'd from potential trade to Cam is #1. Also they are building the new stadium adjacent to the current and I assume they would love to yield a great return right away. What better way to do that then get the best QB in the draft? And one of the few CFB "superstars".

This draft lacks top 10-15 talent at WR, but has pretty good 2nd-3rd round quality WRs.

Kyle Williams would be a good pick. The good news (in a way) is your WR core is *** outside of Ridley, so anyone you add should serve as an upgrade.

Ideally If I were Titans GM, I'd try to trade down in 2nd to pick up like a 4th. Then in the later 2nd and like 4th or 5th I'd draft a WR. I would 100% try to target Restrepo in the 4th/5th round if he slides due to his 40 time.

If you stay with your pick in 2nd, Jayden Higgins or Tre Harris would be an ideal pick imo. If you trade down a little bit Kyle Williams, Elic Ayomanor, Jalen Royals would be good picks. And if you get a Second WR late a guy like Restrepo, Ricky White, Pat Bryant, etc would be good additions.

Interesting podcast. they talk about what Callahan will have to do with the offense to help Cam be successful in his first season. They start off with the interview Callahan did at the NFL meetings last weekend, where he talks about reviewing the tapes he made when he drafted Joe Burrow at Cincy.

They talk about Callahan tailoring the Bengals offense to what Burrow did best at LSU and how that concept would apply to Cam at Tennessee.

They are pretty spot on..
