Emory has been an FCS level QB since HS. I was bombarded 3 years ago when I said it, but here we are.

You’re absolutely correct, and to be fair, we missed on elite QB’s with Judd’s class and passed on others better than Judd. Still, can’t have a roster with Judd and Emory on it. This is not what we brought Mario for.

Luke and Coleman are takes.

I think Mario screwed himself with TVD just imploding under his leadership. I figured he’d have to hit the portal and nail it to change the narrative. Tough to keep decent back ups in today’s game.

If I were Mario, I’d go after a guy with maybe two years left in the spring portal. Sit him, if he or Nickel doesn’t take a leap between then and the winter portal, go for the next big name. I’m bullish on Beck. Best OL he’s played behind, I think Trader is going to be legit, and the defenses are nowhere near as good in the ACC. Not expecting some Ward type year. But him throwing for 3-3500 yards and 25 TDs wouldn’t surprise me at all.
