Time to cut ties...

Wow. A thread that trumps the bench Morris before FSU idea in terms of sheer ****nuttery. Didn't see that coming.

Im on the other side of the OP on this one. All things considered our D played fairly well. They only score 21 points against us. And they had to play from behind all day again this week. Wake only had 350 total yards. The last two games have been on the offense, not the D.

Squarely on the O here especially today. Defense as usual made their adjustments. D has been play pretty well all year, definitely room for improvement

Dorito has been making good adjustments this year, something we haven't had in a long time, and its won some our games for us. And if you pay attention, a lot of these teams are running new schemes they haven't used before, confusing the defense. Time of possession and constant 3 and outs by the offense, doesn't help things either.
 
The D still has a long way to go, but calling for Coach D's head is stupid. The inexperience and lack of talent and depth in the DBs has really shown up the last 2 games.

The more we acquire talent the better our D will be...

100% correct, tackling was horrible and allowed first down after first down, even DP missed a few, although he laid one guy out, there still digging him out of the turf.

Wake had TD drives and a missed FG drive that were all kept alive by missed tackles.

We tackle, we get off the field.

Wow, you expect fans to flip back to firing coaches after a loss, BUT we won and we are undefeated. Let me say that again, WE ARE UNDEFEATED!!!!!! Oh and in top 10. Offense much more the problem than D. Last few games the D has looked bad at but stiffened up after half. O has looked bad until last 5 minutes. Al said team was built for 4th quarter. So far it has owned 4th -- okay, that last TD sucked but think about last year and we lose all three of these last games, especially the way offense is playing.

Yep and this time last year we were 4-3 and giving up 33 points a game on average and over 500 yards of offense

A year later 17.2 points per game. yardage isnt where id like it, but def an improvement

Oh we didnt get our 7th win until our final game

Three and out is a major improvement over turnovers, let's not forget we scored more points than the opposition=W=7-0
