Unacceptable.
We need to bring in someone with innovation and
passion. We're bringing in and have great D talent, we need a
DC that utilizes and maximizes the talent we have.

let's hold our horses there, champ. if not for garbage time touchdowns that we gave up in 3 games, we're a top 10 scoring defense (we're currently #11). i'd rather bleed yards than give up points any day. we're also hurting badly at safety.
 
And Wake Forest is making us look like chumps, on my birthday no less...A birthday is for sitting on the couch, drinking liquor, and watching my Canes beat a 21 point spread..Not being down at halftime because a faulty defense..
 
It's pathetic...an that bend don't break crap is pathetic...we should want to smash them in the mouth

When you bleed yards like we do 2 things happen

1) you keep our offense off the field (the strength of your team)
2) you give the opposing QB unnecessary confidence with high completion %

it's called missed tackles b utt****. We've been into 3rd and long numerous time, in position to make the tackles. Tackle the carrier.
 
oh yeah and the fact morris hasn't been able to sustain long drives all seasons has nothing to do with it. they won the game in nc for us in 2nd half like they did in ga tech

and none of that matters if they don't score points, and we don't give up many points. without those 3 garbage touchdowns, we give up 13.6 points/game, which is tied with michigan state at #4 in the nation.

We won but played like **** both games. It is time we start dominating teams like these on a regular basis.

Yes, that is the answer right there. Fire the DC because they were 5 for 5 on the first drive. I bet the defense would give up a **** of a lot less yards if the offense could stay on the field. Just a thought....

Offense is pathetic and it all starts with Morris. Put in Williams. Morris sucks and isn't going to be a first round draft pick.
 
Absolutely no pressure on the 4th down play and the touchdown.
The end zone camera shot showed a clear lane in front of the quarterback.
WTF!!!!

Defense won the game... again. If you want to fire a coordinator try the opposite side of the ball.

I agree....the fire talk is silly, but I was more disappointed in Coley than in Donofrio, although I dont think either one distinguished themselves today.
