Time change

We can only hope Mario shares his colada or we have no chance at being awake by 10PM pacific.

Air travel significantly impacts recovery. I’d be concerned if they were getting in Friday and then playing the following day. That does not appear to be the case. They should be fine. I didn’t look at the data that you posted, but I suspect that there is a far more significant corollary with NBA and MLB teams traveling then playing [poorly] then teams coming up two days before the game.

Edit: reading through this thread, the issue is not traversing time zones. The issue is traveling in a plane. It has a dehydrating effect.

They travel on Thursday ... have Thursday and Friday then Saturday to be adjusted. It is a 3 hour freaking time difference ... it isn't as dramatic as a trip to Europe. Most people acclimate in A DAY. Not an excuse. Great environment ..... GREAT WEATHER.
Agreed.

I think it's overblown of people making so much of a 3 hour time difference. If we had a 3-hour weather delay in South Florida for a 7:30pm start, the only people tired would be the fans.

These guys are in college. They hang out in the nightlife until the early morning. A 10:30pm start is nothing.

Cal, Stanford, and Hawaii travel thousands of miles every other week. You don't hear them or their fans crying about it. No excuses.
