As we know, the game this week will be like a 10:30 PM start time. I'm concerned.

There have been some studies that show that West time zone teams beat the spread convincingly against East Coast teams in night games - and this is West Coast night game to make things even worse:

West Coast ATS and West Coast Advantage, and for soccer too Soccer

Worse still, there seems to be a higher risk of injury in East Coast teams playing night games on the west coast..

Risk of Injury

We have the week off, after, sure. But while this isn't the most important game of the season, it could likely be the most significant. Poor job of whomever was responsible for scheduling.

They're kids, they'll be fine. I will say it's **** poor planning on behalf of the ACC to make Miami play so late.
Especially considering we're, checks notes, "the ACC's favorite team!"

They travel on Thursday ... have Thursday and Friday then Saturday to be adjusted. It is a 3 hour freaking time difference ... it isn't as dramatic as a trip to Europe. Most people acclimate in A DAY. Not an excuse. Great environment ..... GREAT WEATHER.
75 around kick-off dropping to 65, our guys will think they died and went to heaven!

Got to sleep at 2 am on Thursday and Fri. Wake up at 10 . A 730 pm game will feel like it’s 3 pm.

The stats in the articles encompass what seems to be a meaningful sample size so there could be some truth to it but I believe the study was for NFL teams where the playing field is more even and may not apply to college kids as well as it did for NFL players.

Also, the studies are a bit old which tells me Vegas has already figured that into the spread and it is no longer an advantage to bet that way.

Bottom line Miami -10 should be about right.

Change tampon. Keep marching. Add a panty liner if it’s a really heavy flow day.
