Not a fan of a kid committing before visiting anyway. Those kids usually don't stick. Pull out the red carpet in a few weeks and close the deal.
Anyone else find it a bit odd what Gall said?
About the kids that are out of state seeing what is being built at UM, but not the kids in the city? Bond, Figueroa, Knighton, Odogwu, Sandland, and Muhammad are the last 6 commitments, and Tim Williams is the guy showing the heaviest interest of anyone left on the board.
The kids who aren't from this city dnt have to deal with the bull**** politics that HS coaches play down here. Half these recruits can't even think for themselves cause they get told so much bull**** on a daily basis from their coach, to their recruiters, to their uncles

They also hear all the constant negativity from purported UM fans and from the local media covering UM. Very negative environment down here that lacks the homer mentality of most successful college programs.

FSU was supposedly all over Williams at the UA hotel last night
Gonna make getting him even sweeter

I don't believe it's any different here than other schools...
Lock if he visits.

Lets be real here, there is no way that Gall has that much inside info on who is and isnt coming. He will have an educated guess, but lets be serious he probably hasnt even met most of our targets up in OH.Anyone else find it a bit odd what Gall said?

It will play itself out. A lot of these local kids just haven't decided yet, but doesn't mean they won't eventually pick Miami.
