It’s obvious Manny likes him or he would have fired his *** when he had a shot during all this transition. Manny will never fire his boys it seems like so we are stuck with average recruiting in defense. Hopefully Enos can put up some points on offense.

We were never getting Surtain. LSU took the hit on him. I do believe both visited Miami out of respect for Rumph.
 
I think it was another post he got bodied for, and i think with the pattern that had something to do with it

You are not firing your defensive staff when it finishes in the top 5 nationally and improves year over year. I'm not convinced that anybody is safe if the defense regresses significantly next year. That being said I think the portal saved our *** this year.

Coming off a national title with $aban choppering in. Hmmmm. There is no loyalty down your way with the local kids. In their defense until Miami stabilizes and wins consistently and competes for the conference year in and year out this where we are at.

I disagree. Competent coaching wins 10 games a year consistently. Everybody is Miami is about winning national titles. Well, no ****, but.... My thought is how about winning the Coastal consistently so you can play the Atlantic Division, which should be Clemson 4 out of 5 years? Win your conference consistently next. I actually think we get this fixed rather quickly. I do think Diaz gets it. Unlike some ******* coming in and pitching seven pillars who was mentored by Al Groh. Or some retread who said he had the energy but just had nothing left in the tank. Also think he will be a better head coach. Also believe he is not afraid to make necessary changes. I think he has an allegance to his defensive coaches, but he has enough ambition to cut them loose if they aren't cutting it. What he is doing with the portal is Butch like when Butch created the grayshirt to get around the NCAA. To succeed at Miami you do have to be an ambitious guy and a little ruthless. I hope Manny aspires to coach in the NFL. We don't need a guy who will settle in his destination job.

This was his make or break year. Diaz and CMR said all along it'd take until 2019 to get the roster right.

Like South Florida is due to be submerged under three feet of water by 2020 due to global warming according to this big NY expert Ocasio-Cortez. And as a result you'll never be able to get your car out under three feet of water. And the kid, never having heard of this great scientist Ocasio-Cortez panics and drops Miami.
