It will be Chud as HC and a BIG push will be made to bring Cristobal down as assistant HC.

Exactly . People want Urban after UF and Saban after Lsu .Not while they're at Bowling Green and Toledo.

They want a sure thing but those guys cost 5-6 million a year.

Fuente is a star in the making , same guys will be wanting him once he takes another job and balls out.

When Utah was in the Mountain West or whatever that conference was. They weren't a Pac12 team when Urban was there.

Ur missing the point. They took a medium step to Utah and Mich St before to LSU and UF. That's the point. Get it?

I read this post several times last night, and again this morning. Devil's in the details and there's a lot of look-back/go-forward nuggets here.

Was there more to Barrow leaving that can now be discussed?
Will he be back?

Offensive coaches can have great defenses and vise versa. So it just needs to be the right guy.

I will say this. The most important thing to this program is building back the defense. We are a joke right now. Nobody respects us. That needs to change immediately. Kaaya gives you the opportunity to play for championships within two years if you build a great defense.

This is spot on 100% correct as always DMoney. I don't really even care what type of offense the next coach wants to run. It's all about the defense for me. The guy we need is the type of guy who brings the "meet me at the quarterback" type of defense that Butch brought in the mid-90's.

I never got a clear answer. I think it was just philosophical differences with D'Onofrio. He's in a good place in the pros. Very smart player who had some trouble simplifying things for college kids.
