Alabama is pretty clearly pushing very hard for Thomas; that's why they bought a billboard near his school lol. They've been recruiting him forever. That post makes me think Alabama wants info out there so Alabama isn't considered a major player by other coaching staffs (nobody is dumb enough to believe that) but more likely, he didn't have a great visit to Alabama. Thomas is a city kid...not sure how he'd feel about Tuscaloosa.

T-Town is not country. It is a small city. Areas around my be country but its not like Aubunr just in the middle of fields. Yes it isnt Miami but its a nice little campus with a bunch of hot girls and fans that suck their *****. Its not a bad place to be for a top notch recruit.

One of the premier recruits in Tuscaloosa this weekend was Matthew Thomas, five-star linebacker from Washington High School in Miami, Fla. I've mentioned several times prior to the visit I don't believe he is a high priority recruit for the staff. Even though he is a tremendous player and performed very well in the Under Armour All-America game. I continue to hear that the staff is not pushing hard for a commitment from him.

Hearing reports the LB Bama is expecting is now Tim Williams. Maybe this explains his tweet about moving to LB? They say they believe they are the leader in the clubhouse now. I have no clue what to think about Williams recruitment since he has never visited, has a baby, lives on LSU campus yet we havebeen his leader forever.

Exactly what I was thinking. This dude is universally considered one of the top players in the country, but they don't really want him even though they brought him in on an official visit a couple weeks before signing day.
