Look I get it about TC and that's a failure for sure...but you dislike the DB's we signed that much? Because I think that just with what we did signed the secondary got better.

No no no, not at all. But, let’s be real for a moment; the staff have been hinting at Frierson and Blades sliding over to safety or playing that hybrid role. That’s not cool. We needed a true shut down DB. The whole time this staff have been talking about getting the right players so they can run the right scheme; well right now our scheme is a busted zone that only works if the D gets home.

We needed at least one day 1 starter on DB to go w Michael Jackson. Campbell or Surtain II (back to gov’t names) could’ve solved that. But I’m also extremely disappointed in the DL recruitment at the DT position.

Maybe I'm just overly optimistic but I think Hall and Ivey will help a lot with that. Specially Hall.
Obviously it would have been amazing with TC but my point is that the way people are talking about our DB class it's like they are Sh1tting on them.

Are you that dumb? Would you consider the class great if we signed 25 QBs and landed in the top 5? You got to look at the players and positions that make up the ranking. We have a top3 offensive class, but defensively the class isn't great.

Not them, but rather how Rumph closed. Hall is a S, first off. I’m not worried about S. We have Carter, JJ, Hall, and possibly both Frierson and Blades playing hybrids. We are all very disappointed at his recruiting efforts the last two seasons (I give him a pass yr 1). This was as much of a layup as their possibly could be for, at least, TC.

But again, Kul hasn’t earned his keep either, like not at all.

It’s simple, let’s say we recruited the #20 QB, #15 and #25 RB, #41 WR, #52 WR, #28 WR, and #33 WR, # 17 and # 19 TE, # 8 FB, and # 17 and #19 OG.....and we kept the defense the same; would this still be a top 5 class?

No one is refuting our class rank or the job the O-coordinators did; but absolutely I’m refuting that we closed strong and in particular address major concerns on the D side of ball w quality talent.

Exactly b. These MFs can't get that through they head. You can't just go by the overall ranking. You gotta look at the positions of need. You gotta look at defense vs offense. Lot of things to look at. You could sign 25 3 and 10 4 stars and get the top ranked class. The offense did mad good but the defense is lacking. Exactly like you said b If we recruited those numbers we would be no where near top 5. And the thing is those aren't even the positions we are lacking in. Im glad we loaded up over their but defense this year really needed to be a great class.

I tried the hoodie off thing. I tried the Orange and Green glasses thing; but it’s time to be real again and not a homer fan.

Today’s close; unacceptable, IF we’re trying to compete at an elite level. We’re hella unbalanced right now, and that’s my biggest issue. Our weak points are Trench Depth (particularly in the middle) and DB depth.

Kul missed out on every DT prospect outside of Nesta and here’s hoping to Miller becoming an animal. U can’t lose two prospects in Briggs and Chatman to a coach who’s only been on the job 2 months and a staff that’s been assembled for a month. That’s absurdly unacceptable. He gets a pass on Keondre due to him being a long time Texas commit.

Rumph missed out on, not 1, not 2, but 3 supremely elite DBs.....all in our back yard, and 2 of which are once in a generation prospects that he happened to coach. That’s inexcusable, ladies and gents. There’s no way to excuse or explain this.

The perception around here has to change. The TO chain was cool, but it’s not cool when the D is being shredded by QBs who will never see Sunday’s at the next level. It’s not cool going 0-3 to end the season.

We can’t continue to lose battles for elite players. Dugans, Hartley, and Brown are helluva recruiters and their coached positions are killing. Until we truly become elite on D, until we stack chips, this will happen again, and again. Storm 18 is a good class, but it’s not great b/c we didn’t excel at closing and improving depth at severe position of needs, DT and DB, and that falls on two guys.

I’m going to stop u right here; I don’t want to hear just wait until 2019. We’ve said the, just wait til (insert year) theme for too long. I said it at the beginning of the season, if we have another long losing streak, the 18 class momentum will crash. Our saving grace was the early sign period....believe that.

Now I'll give some perspective however...Briggs was always going to be an uphill battle regardless of how long the FSU staff was in place. His heart was in Trailerhassee from day one. The only way we made inroads was due to the disfunction in Tally during the last few months of Jimbo. Our staff debated Chatman infinitum. Because early on he played us, left us for LSU, before backing out from there as well. It was Kool pushing to reignite his recruitment, and as we now see it was an error. The kid is a talent, but a head case, and that will be shown in time. Personally I'm glad we didn't get him. Briggs hurts no doubt.

Both PS2 and Campbell are elite. And I agree with your statements on their recruitment. But, we cannot underestimate the significance of those last three losses. Especially, the Clemson blowout, which made lots of folks AND opposing recruiters say, "see I told you so, they are a paper tiger." Elite recruits usually end up at elite programs. Miami right now, is close, but they are a wannabe, looking in from the outside. We are trending, but PS2 and Campbell saw 5 star Tracy Howard not make a dent in our relevance, and they weren't gong to follow suit.
