I'm not back at school yet but I can tell you for a fact that Blake James's email has crashed twice already from angry fans.
Dammit man.....I've about lost all hope. Please give us a sliver of hope tomorrow. Lie to us if you have to just so we don't immolate ourselves in front of the Hecht.
All I've been told is a decision hasn't been made yet either way. I doubt that D'Onofrio is going to be the sacrificial lamb. Golden nominated him for the Broyles award. He technically fielded a top 15 defense. It's evident to everybody that the problem is Golden.
I don't want to give anybody false hope, but if Golden isn't on the Joe Rose Show tomorrow I think that'll be a strong sign of a change. I also think that we would hear a strong vote of confidence now if Golden had definitely been retained the same the students and alumni got emails from him when he came back from Penn State-gate. I also assume one of the mods would have given us a sign that he is for sure back if that was the case.
To build off of what Pete said, Golden getting fired could happen and it is being discussed but nothing seems definite now whether it be him coming back or getting fired. I feel it's a true 50-50 toss up.
I will be back to work tomorrow and I'll get whatever I can learn from my coworkers and bosses then.
