* McCord said he’s on one end of UM’s “speed” package, a 4-3 setup the Canes employ on third down. Darrion Owens is working behind him. The opposite ends are Trent Harris and Al-Quadin Muhammad. While I am all for getting a speed package on the field, I seem to recall that we tried this 2 years ago and it never worked because we weren't in ANY way creative with what we did out of it.

It's a shame that some of them haven't had better careers. I feel like they never blossomed.
