It's staggering to see how many upvotes this received.

- We lost two first-round picks (Flowers & Dorsett), other premier talent (Perryman, Duke, and Walford), a talented player who's college career was ruined by incompetent coaching/excessive bulking (Chickillo), and others who will likely make their NFL team (Gunter and Feliciano).

- We lost multiple starters along the most questionable position group on the team (OL).

- After all that talent moved on to the next level, we brought in a recruiting class that was depleted by widespread decommitments, lacked Miami speed, featured barely any top talent from our own backyard, and finished just inside the Top 30 nationally.

People actually believe this team is easily more talented than last year's when taking all that into consideration? Or that it makes any difference with the staff we have in place? Holy crap...

It's still talented and will be a better team, most of those players cared about their draft stock, come on now let's not just sit here and act like there is no talent on the team. Even with those losses talent wise, this is a top 15 team...

I agree that we just need to grin and bear it and hope for wins. I'll never root for the Canes to lose. However it is the height of irony that Brock, the poster who first complained about people bashing players, is the only one in this thread who has bashed players. Do you even read what you post man?

really? WTF? I can already see AL setting Kaaya up to take the fall for the horrific season that is inevitable. He sets him up as an All world true Sophomore and then he only wins 6 games (again because he sucks) Then AL says that "We didn't have the production that we thought we would have had out of the QB position...We are working with Brad and he is working with us..He will be Phenomenal NEXT year...We are all excited.." Used car salesman AL G buys himself another year....
 
so based on this 2015 mantra that Golden has of no distractions in the off season leading to a better situation, we should have no problem with FSU who was full of distractions this off season, right Al?

There's a common trait among the remaining Golden/administration semi-advocates....a clear lack of intelligence.

If you've read enough of his posts you shouldn't be surprised that he contradicted himself by passively bashing the players...at this point the only way anyone cane even come up a semi defense of Golden and company is to point the finger at the players.

Mind you...WE ARE IN YEAR 5. So those players you're pointing the finger at, at this point, are almost all players that GOLDEN recruited. Last time I checked the composition of the roster and the talent or lack thereof also speaks to Golden's HC abilities.

The whole thing is an *** backwards attempt by the remaining administration defenders to somehow save face. There's zero logic or any semblance of intelligence behind any of it. It's like having Don Bailey Jr and Joe Z create multiple screen names on this board and having them post over and over.

He did but he some of those fumbles were very costly including South Carolina and Nebraska game where we had tons of momentum

I am just ready to watch the Canes play, period. I am going to take a wait and see approach. While I do not believe in the staff, I do think we have a talented roster. And I would rather watch the Canes play than not any day of the week.
