thanks...I'm pumped...this is a more talented team than last years easily.....especially on the defnesive side of the ball.
It's staggering to see how many upvotes this received.
- We lost two first-round picks (Flowers & Dorsett), other premier talent (Perryman, Duke, and Walford), a talented player who's college career was ruined by incompetent coaching/excessive bulking (Chickillo), and others who will likely make their NFL team (Gunter and Feliciano).
- We lost multiple starters along the most questionable position group on the team (OL).
- After all that talent moved on to the next level, we brought in a recruiting class that was depleted by widespread decommitments, lacked Miami speed, featured barely any top talent from our own backyard, and finished just inside the Top 30 nationally.
People actually believe this team is easily more talented than last year's when taking all that into consideration? Or that it makes any difference with the staff we have in place? Holy crap...
You have to look at what that 2015 recruiting class replaces in totality, not just a few guys. The 2015 class replaces the 2011 class and any 2010 redshirts. Take a look back at who we signed in those years (and who was still on the roster and contributing last year). We are getting deeper and more talented in total. OL is really the only question mark on the field and that is due to experience and chemistry and not the talent level. Even further, look at the 2014 class and then the 2010 and 2009 redshirts that it replaces. You guys do math that supports your own pathetic point of view. We are talking about talent, not the coaching.
