We get J. Johnson and Carlton Davis. We got too many cats from SoFl giving us the pro Miami momentum that we haven't had recently. When Irvin commits the others will come soon after. Don't sleep on Walter Tucker, the kid has elite skills they just have to be developed.

Anyone like Pete know if this kid is fast because all these kids look fast in HS. People knew SColey would outrun college guys and that's what makes him a stud besides his one cut n go ability.

The guy in his highlight film was walking by Northwestern and Central players. If you can do that, you are FAST. period.

Well the Noles don't have Frazier right now and Scarlett committed to us. If the dude really wanted to play for FSU, he would commit to FSU. You really believe they would turn down a commitment from Scarlett right now just because they are hoping to land Frazier? C'mon now.

As far as the Noles are concerned at RB their top 2, Patrick and Frasier are not locks especially with Patrick taking a hard look at Alabama. Scarlett mentioned that FSU stopped communicating with him but I know that is not the case with other backs so we just have to see how the season plays out because to a lot of kids that means something to them and then see how the chips fall.

Frazier is #2 on FSU board but they haven't been able to get him on campus yet, if they can't get Farzier Scarlett is the 3rd back on their board

The focus at DB remains the same as it has been for some time. The dream class would have Tyrek Cole, Carlton Davis at corner with JaQuan Johnson at safety and Tim Irvin in a nickel/safety role. Davante Davis is also in the mix. The problem for Miami is that besides Carlton, none of these kids are in a rush to make their commitment. It will be wait-and-see. Look for a local kid or two to emerge as well.

I would love to get all these guys but im want Fenton as well.

Amen. And I a sure God will smile as Chocolate runs though THE SMOKE the first time. Kid is everything we claim to want. Local stud comes up hard works even harder puts on THE U and stays home. This is a Miami boy, not the little girls running north to have their heads rubbed by rednecks for luck.

James is also blessed with quite a strong lineage of football in the area. His father, Blue James, was a standout at nearby Haines City in the early '90s. Along with the Williams brothers, who play for FSU, Derwin James is also related to Miami running back Mike James.

It's no surprise that Mike James, his cousin, was a little disappointed in Derwin's decision.

"Yeah, he texted me over the weekend and was like 'Dang man, why are you going there?'" Derwin said. "But he knows FSU is my school."

Derwin been committed to FSU for 2 years now and has never wavered not once. He is like what Duke was to us. he is a stud too.
