Nice reporting. Can you please refer to yourself in first person more often?
It lends credibility.

Your description of Cole sounds almost exactly like the description some had of Tracy coming out of HS.
Was going to say the same thing. Maybe doesn't project to be the best NFL prospect, but he can end up being a very good college corner.

Ill take Causey and Carlton Davis....Davis is blowing up big time...I wouldn't be surprised if he goes from 3 star to high 4 star after The Opening...guy posted a 99 at the SPARQ...
Causey is another prospect people were overrating. Davis is the real deal
" Cavin is in a similar situation where he is older than his 2016 classification and we have been told that his transcripts are even worse off that Calvin’s at this point."
These schools down here man.......
How about the parents/guardians...

It's why I dont go 100% into recruiting this time of the year. I remember in 2012 when the Miami boards were trying to make Brandon Snell to be a high 4 star player. This time of the year our fans are mostly aware of the local kids and a decent 3 star kid looks like a potential top 247 player. Not calling Cole a three star player, but he is closer to 3 star than he is 5 star..........
Pete, what made you change your view on Cole?
Just seeing him more and more. Don't get me wrong, I still think he's a stud and a no doubt take, but I'm not as high on him as others.

**In some general recruiting news, keep an eye on the name Ben Humphreys from Mater Dei (Ca.). Humphreys (6-3, 210) is a 2015 4-star S/LB prospect who is friends with Brad Kaaya and Kaaya has let the staff know about him. I exchanged messages with Humphreys tonight and he is very interested in Miami. His highlights are impressive - http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1442761/ben-humphreys

It's mind boggling to hear the same thing every year. These kids have got to figure it out, do some work in the classroom and you can go pretty much anywhere you want.
Maybe this should be its own thread, but I think the 7 on 7 game is different enough that I'd be very careful with projections based on what is seen in that setting. I'm interested to hear from some of the coaches on here. I've played live (regular) and 7 on 7 flag and the approach is almost 100% different. Would like for Hollyhood or the like to throw a perspective on how this positively or negatively affects their players.
