Pete - has Devonta Smith set an OV with us yet?
I think they got lazy recruiting WR's. Look at the commits and targets.
I'm excited to see Anthony McFarland jr.

I'm not sure they're very good at evaluating them to begin with. Their strategy seems to be "we gonna go after exotic dimes only, and if we strike out, we're okay sitting at home jerking off."
Richt never had stud WRs at UGA. Dugans is a good coach, but his targeting has been all over the place.
Should be after -
Gamble
Davis
and Deandre Johnson
Heard story that Gamble and staff had some friction regarding his recruiting or lack of some time back and it has carried on.
I'm talking overall. We all know about Green, but when you look at the entirety of his tenure....Richt was there for 15 seasons. Think about that. Very pedestrian WR corps.I think they got lazy recruiting WR's. Look at the commits and targets.

This California te is more foolishness by this staff. Kid is not coming. We **** the bed on wr chasing a Georgia kid and a Louisiana kid. Now same thing with te. We will strike out

If the close is McFarland, Dean, Conliffe, Herbert, Slaton, Harley, Holmes, Edwards then really the only hole is an elite WR. Every player besides Dykstra is Miami quality. It would be a good class and after 15 years of bullshyt on the field a top 10-15 class is very good.
Thanks. There's so much speed there, we can't figure it out.
What do you mean you guys can't figure it out? That's all he is...speed
All he does is runs screens, verts, and slants all day...and his slant routes are horrendous and poorly ran.
If he came here, he would just return kicks
that's what coaching is for..
You don't teach a kid to run routes at this point...you refine technique and then add on with giving them option routes to run.
A Kidd who only runs 2 routes and was taught the simplest of screen plays doesn't belong in high level P5 football no matter how fast
Go watch Mike Harley's tape and then watch his, You'll see a huge difference between him and Quantino
BS.
There's former HS QUARTERBACKS playing WR all over college football.
Guess where they learned to run routes..

1 stud in 15 years. The much maligned Butch had Santana,Wayne and Andre at the same time. That's landing elite wrs.

If we get the other five olinemen, do we really need Dykstra? Is it possible we drop him once/if we secure Herbert and Slaton's commitments?

How many elite WR's have come out of the state of Georgia in the last 15 years? I don't recall many. That could be one reason Richt's program didn't churn out elite NFl players at the position. The best seem to come from Louisiana, Cali, Texas, and of course south Florida.

Our Staff be having some weird a55 dates setup for certain prospects on recruiting official visit weekends. Before the dead period and before the weekend jeudy visited we didn't have anyone visit officially. That's dumb ,swing for the fences every chance you get. And when we do have ov weekends it be like a big group of prospects visiting, ain't no way they can get the same amount of attention if the weekends were split up... we better have people visiting every weekend throughout January
