Pete is Brayden Lenius gonna be a take not matter what or is he just a back up plan for Njoku/Griffin?
Interesting that now Njoku, who everyone thought was just a backup plan, is now considered a top recruit for whom we are now considering backup plans?
I haven't watched Njoku's highlights, just read what others had to say. I just said that I read that he was jumping 7 foot in practice earlier in the year, was 6'4", and not skinny, and seemed to have good wheels. I knew nothing about his ball skills. Just on size, speed and jumping ability, he had to be intriguing.
I DID look at Lenius in that championship game, and I think he should be a take no matter what. He's fluid, tall and can go up and catch the ball. I think he can be awesome at the next level. I don't think he's a backup plan for anyone. We're only on him late because he only emerged late. He didn't start playing until October because of transfer rules. We've got to get him in with Kaaya...Like I said, Kaaya goes with Lenius the way Yearby goes with Cook. It's just a basic rule. These guys have to stay together.
