Any word on Bond getting his **** together and still being a Cane next year. I know he said he wanted he still wanted to be a Cane but they always say that when they don't qualify. Any chance or word on him still making that happen or has that ship completely sailed especially with a full class now. I'm assuming no but just wanted to get some clarification.

Looks like that ship has sailed unfortunately. It's a dam shame. I was watching his highlights again last night, and would kill for Miami to give him 1 more shot. Dude is a freaking BEAST. It's recruiting, so anything can happen.

Been saying for a few days now that I expect The Don to either nab a JUCO Safety or to find a vet Safety on the waiver wire. I don't think there's any way we go into next season with the current situation at Safety plus a true freshmans project. Safety is tough for a true freshmans to excel at.

I remember Ed Reed being specifically bad as a freshman

Eddie Reed is a badass first ballot hall of famer, but he's still smelling Chaffe Fields *** when he blew coverage as a freshmans and we lost to Pedo State in 2000. I'm still wet from that game.

We didn't play Penn State in 2000. We played them in 2001 and kicked the **** out of them. You are talking about the 1999 game.

I think the key for UM and Sony will be whether UMASS makes a huge stink (reports UGA to the NCAA) for tampering. If you UMASS accuses UGA of tampering and goes public, things could get interesting.

My understanding he didn't play this year. He is at a JUCO just taking classes. He'd be free to go wherever he wanted then

Right I get that but what i'm saying is that he failed all of his classes at UMass for last spring so unless he's enrolled anywhere getting grades right now, is he even capable of enrolling at UGA? And because of the timer, as I understand it, he's still losing this year of eligibility, right? There is just a lot of surface level conjecture to this situation that may have a lot going on. I'm not arguing what the intent is, i'm trying to get an understanding of how it would even work at this point

Reed got benched the next game, and it was related to that play.

shiano gambled a lot and played press man coverage a lot. I didn't agree w/ the defense at the time and thought we should have protected against the deep pass once we took the lead a such little time left.

I was at that game as well. we got robbed on the james Jackson 4th and 1 spot and we should have been able to run out the clock.

That game was a sickening experience. I was spitting bile on the floor of the OB.

But it was certainly a testament to the point that young Safeties often struggle no matter how good they wind up being later. Reed is one of the best of all time, and even he had some very rough patches early in his career.

Whats the latest word on Bo Scarbrough and UM. The rumors keep flying that BAMA will make him a LB, but he wants to play offense, if true then UM should be a easy switch. But now here is Million dollar Question Scarbrough comes on a visit in Dec and Leonard Fournette comes on visit in Dec also an now both want to commit to UM whom do you take? This could be a very real possibility with Scarbrough living in Bradenton, FL now and Fournette I found out is actually serious when he says Academics at a school matter with him being a Honors Class student. Bama and LSU can't touch UM academics.

So whom would ya'll pick out of the two?

everyone is an easy switch to this guy, for some reason. UM could have no chance, yet, any kid from nj or florida or any other random state for some reason is an easy switch as long as are interested in academics and we guarantee they play the position they want to play.
