The Work 10-24

I wish Rudolph would've been noted in the OP. I think he's the most electric WR left on our board. But guessing from the lack of mention I'm guessing he's pretty much set on not coming here. Oh well.

No too worried about Gray getting in. We'll have plenty of athletes coming in on offense for us so he won't be missed unless he was gonna play safety for us. T

Also, with Stuckey out we have to get a second JuCo DT. Only one I know we're after is Johnson (I consider Pelon a SDE). What names are coming up at JuCo DT?

Finally, we have to find a safety for this class. Going into next year with 3 scholarship safeties is not gonna cut it.

We are also after Terrell Clinkscales and Lance McDowdell

Franchise, true. Does anyone know? I just thought he hadn't played b/c I thought he said he left juco. I'm just basing most of my comments on dbc. My bad.

I think the key for UM and Sony will be whether UMASS makes a huge stink (reports UGA to the NCAA) for tampering. If you UMASS accuses UGA of tampering and goes public, things could get interesting.

My understanding he didn't play this year. He is at a JUCO just taking classes. He'd be free to go wherever he wanted then

UgA got him to leave UMASS...

He stopped going to classes so he wasn't staying at UMass even if he wanted to.

Put the puzzle together. He left UMASS because he was told about UGA.

Nothing will probably come it. #SEC

Rest assured, if his bro was at another major program, chit would hit the fan.

I know it's probably been said several times but I haven't seen it. How many are we taking in this years class?

We can take up to 35
dont think that is the case. Pretty sure the max is 31 as we were only able to count 2 initial counters out of 21 (Renfrow,O'Donnell,Mustafaa,Gilbert +17 from recruiting class) from this year back to last year, meaning 19 initial counters this year . We can fill the 6 open slots from this year with early enrollees + 25 yearly allotment = 31 for this year

**After watching Monarch ATH Calvin Ridley last week against Deerfield Beach, I would be shocked if Miami doesn’t offer soon. He is too good of an athlete and produces at too high of a level for Miami not to extend the offer before his season is over.

Ridley is going to be a ****ing stud, IMO. He grew up a Canes fan, and has been on campus some and met with various coaches. He's been to multiple Canes games this year as well. The moment we offer, we shoot to #1 with him, if we're not technically there already. Getting him and Shawn Burgess-Becker out of Monarch together would be ****ing epic. I like that we're doing well with kids from Pompano, lots of talent in North Broward we need to keep home. Get em', Al.

He's a stud... Really good film

I'm a big Calvin Ridley fan.

247 had an article up and said we can take 10 EE and 25 towards this class. That not counting people that will leave the team either for the draft or to another school.

I dont think this staff is after 1 year only JUCOs.... I thought that was why they let Devante Bond go.

I guess our DT situation is such that they would accept 1 year DTs to come in and fill the wholes for a year.

About Ryheem Lockley..... he didnt come off like a defensive player at all from this highlight video that was posted on this board.

He also didnt seem like he had the lower mass to be a TE...... he looks like he could be a big, athletic WR that is size mismatch almost like Derrick Griffin.

Well Derrick Griffin looks like he could possibly grow into a TE more so then Ryheem Lockley is what i'm saying.

Havent heard any Lockley updates in a while. Hope he's still coming. His tape is insane

Say what you fools want about me, Stuckley's highlight tape shows 3 seasons of playing at that JUCO level and you only get 4 years of playing eligilbilty plus a redshirt year to ride the pines ( which would defeat the purpose of bringing in a Juco)

An to the person above that thinks players get 5 years of on field playing eligibility, wow you need to slap yourself. But enough of this thread jacking, it started out as a good thread.

Is Stuckley a new DT we are recruiting?
Plus I thought we were talking about Wyche?

I thought we let Bond go because we really only needed him for this year. We have people like him who can rush the passer, they just werent gonna be really ready this year.

Smh. Do you really not understand the 5/4 eligibility concept or are you just being intentionally obtuse?

yea, that is definitely wrong though. They are not counting any of the transfers, who are also initial counters. I am fairly certain 31 is the number

Whats the latest word on Bo Scarbrough and UM. The rumors keep flying that BAMA will make him a LB, but he wants to play offense, if true then UM should be a easy switch. But now here is Million dollar Question Scarbrough comes on a visit in Dec and Leonard Fournette comes on visit in Dec also an now both want to commit to UM whom do you take? This could be a very real possibility with Scarbrough living in Bradenton, FL now and Fournette I found out is actually serious when he says Academics at a school matter with him being a Honors Class student. Bama and LSU can't touch UM academics.

So whom would ya'll pick out of the two?
