@CaneSport 1 hour ago - We never had a recruit tell us they were concerned about "the cloud." But we just had 1 tell us he is concerned about Miami bec of the fans

Obviously, there are many more reasons a recruit would not be interested in Miami at this point in time, but I found this comment fitting.

TURN UP THE VOLUME!! ....

I maybe on the minority, but not sure what everyone is seeing in Kaaya. Looked K against bad teams, looked bad against decent teams.

Um he was in Highschool 3 months before his first start, limited wrs, injuries on the o-line.

Even with that he made NFL reads and throws.

Just needs to get stronger and improve his accuracy.

We are talking about a player that has top 5 pick potential.

Yes, you are, in fact, in the minority.

I guess that puts me somewhere in the middle. I saw enough from Brad Kaaya this season to be very optimistic about the future but I also saw a kid who made a bunch of freshman errors. This is why I continued to call for some playing time for Ryan Williams. It would have benefitted Brad Kaaya IMO.

I also said the same thing last season when golden refused to play Williams even when Stephen Morris was stinking up the joint.

Its a function of player development, as well as being a function of overall program development.

So Golden has spent 4 years telling us how much the cloud has affected recruiting, now they are saying recruits never were worried about it but the fans though. Hahahaha. Thats it , im done

While I certainly agree Brad played like a true frosh at times, his overall body of work from this past season was outstanding. I respectfully disagree with the other comment that he looked "k" against bad teams and "bad" against decent teams. Put in the tape, film don't lie....

I don't see how benching him in the middle of the season would have done anything as far as his development as a player is concerned, do you see this recruiting momentum we have if any? It's because of Brad kaaya... None of it would have happen if we played williams for the rest of the season or started heaps.... These kids are enticed by kaaya because they seen and know what he can do....

dont know what Vern's success rate (unfortunately I've seen a lot that has been correct).with his bleak visions, but someone previously posted awhile ago (with proof) that he was wrong on Trayone Gray. That being said, with this coaching staff producing 6-7 in year 4, how can anyone be 100% confident that the top guys (Scarlett, etc) will sign in the end.

This is true.. I still dont believe Gray got in..Happy he did tho.... Scarlett prediction is purely speculation off 8 years of crootin experience ( When has university school sent us somebody since David Perry?) but if I say something about a Northern Dade County Public School prospect please believe I know what Im talking about..

Pete has a tough job to do here. he is a 19 year old goofy lookin cornball...croots gonna tell him anything as well as coaches....he still has scripts to sell... people want to come on this site and hear good news. So keep it positive Pete.....and I will keep everybodyelse grounded I have no inside intel on Scarlett but he is the playing the game right and doesnt want backlash from his hometown fans... That boy is gone unless somebody comin through with the serious duffel bag, and I dont see that happenin with the state of this program. Knowles is another prospect that is good but that isnt Miami material... He is a project... We need players that there aint no question he will ball here thats how you win championships..... not by developing projects.....our only hope to salvage this class is bringing in some top ranked JUCOS... Gus Edwards will be our best RB next year if he stays

By far the dumbest post of the day and that says alot... written from a free computer at the gainsville public library i presume..

It's too early to say top 5 pick. I'll say his top quality is decision making and composure but I don't know about NFL reads and throws. He struggled with the deep ball and he made questionable reads at times. He has a long way to go. He benefitted from having a premier back, a veteran line, and playmaking wideout and tight end.

I think he can be special due to his maturity and absence of forcing things. Top 5 is a bit extreme. However, his intelligence and patience as a true freshman brings a lot of promise. I don't think he leaves in 3 years. I actually think we'll see a regression due to the veteran absence. However, he is going to be good but top 5 is a bit extreme.

Brad Kaaya’s relationship with Scarlett could end up keeping him in the class. I’m more confident than I was heading into the weekend

Nah he still waitin for his FSU offer to sit on the bench... you know its crootin..

Why do people say the word, "Crootin?"

because they work in education for the Northern Dade County Public School system and went to fsu……. serious
