SHUT THE PROGRAM DOWN! WHY PLAY NEXT SEASON! MIAMI LOST A RECRUIT TO ANOTHER SCHOOL! END THE SPORT OF FOOTBALL BECAUSE A KID CHOSE TO GO TO ANOTHER SCHOOL (even though that's not even official yet)

go back to my 2015 post ont he issue. Im guesing Richt thought he had pull down here and was an alum..so it was a slam dunk..But i knew he didnt have pull like that.

Rumph's a good coach. But man, you got to be able to recruit. Campbell was supposed to be a layup (coached him in HS and optimist, kid flat out said he was a father figure), yet you (Rumph) can't land him.

That's very concerning going forward.

anyone who has any ties to TC should stay away.

i'm sure the kid isn't even 100% to UGA yet but Miami fans will **** him off so much the next few weeks that it'll guarantee it

This ain't on Rumph. This is on TC. It ain't Rumph's fault. If TC wants to go to Georgia, so be it. Have a nice life and good luck. One recruit ain't going to keep us from our goal.
 
so **** tired of this. Our biggest need and we miss on arguably the top 4 DBs in South Florida in Campbell, Surtain, JoRbe, and Samuel. Ouch. We'll never be back if this keeps happening and I thought it would stop under Richt. Those SEC dollars are too strong a pull and it makes me hate college football. F this ****

That's great that the dad likes UGA. But how many times has a recruit gone somewhere else where the family loved Miami?

Fair enough. Between Pete and Lingard's comments, I can accept the L... But it's an L for all of us.

This is an epic fail all around from Rumph to Richt. We need to pull kids like this If we are going to be a playoff team and if we are going to lockdown a chunk of the top talent in our area. On the other hand we are looking good on the DL so there's that.

this is why you recruit guys like Divaad Wilson and give a f if he has beef with any of our recruits.

Going from Campbell to a Nigel Bethel is a big drop off. Got**** Uga might have Campbell and Divaad at cb..jeezus christ. Thats essentially in my mind the top cb in Dade as well as Broward.

All year i was a proponent of recruiting Wilson and Samuel Jr. Reason being Jobe was trolling obviously, and Campbell holds his recruiting close to the vest which would lead you to believe he isnt a lean to anyone.

To be honest Rumph is holding up a coaching spot..as we have 2 db coaches that barely equal to 1.

Another note..im not that down on Nigel Bethel as some are. VERY fast, has length, has tools you can work on at cb. Just hope whoever is our next db coach can bring it out.

Given the inherent advantages and the facts, this was the equivalent of blowing a wide open lay up. Do we have a good class? Sure. Does it excuse this vomit inducing miss? No. We had his former high school coach who was considered a "father figure", multiple teammates committed, at a position of need coming off of our best season in a decade and we STILL can't close the deal. **** is a huge loss and should be unacceptable to a Canes fan. I can simultaneously be happy about the overall class and be ****ed about this. It's not mutually exclusive.
 
UGA is buying 5 stars left and right.

No reason to think someone didn’t receive some sort of major kickback Tyson’s signature.

I think the problem with some of these sources Pete has and I firmly believe it’s someone on the staff, is with some of the these kids like Jobe or Campbell the staff thinks they are getting everyone and aren’t reading these kids properly.

Just not sure how Rattlr and Pete original predictions and info was so way off.

Wilson (another kid he knew forever), CJ Henderson, Brian Edwards...off the top of my head.

Swags hes been a failure recruiting almost at epic levels. Coaching at a position where YOU HAVE to be a great recruiter. Good guy, but man if he doesnt land Campbell. He is new orleans safety level from yesterday...like he shouldnt even show up for signing day at the office.
 
Great news with a lot of our most pressing needs and top targets.

Rumph losing his top target, his protege, his former player, and someone he's consider to be family. Is sad.

Still a top 5 class, and we are improving for the immediate future and adding to the depth chart.

F*ck Rumph can't believe he lost that battle.
