At least he's not an auto K like he was earlier in the year. I am hopeful he's seeing the ball better.

Definitely not great contact but for the second time today he put the ball in play and good things happened.

Good job by Gil with the hit up the middle to dri e in a other run, but he needs to jump on fastballs early. You rarely get a cookie on your second strike in the at-bat.

Good result. Still not a good approach. He's taking fastballs around the middle of the plate for strike one in at least his last two at-bats. When a pitcher is on, you don't get two good pitches to hit in an at-bat.
