We need to rep their plays more in a live game, get it on film, give defenses even more to worry about.

Reread my other comments on this thread. I didn’t say let’s not use him. I said there’s a finite number of plays you get during a game and you call plays that scheme up best against the fronts you’re seeing. Not everything in life is either/or. I realize that’s difficult for a rural Carolinian to understand, so let me explain.

When you’re at a family reunion and you see a female you sort of recognize, she’s not either your sister or your babymomma. She’s both. Got it now?

There is enough opportunities for him to get more than 16 catches in 8 games when he is one of the most talented guys on the offense. Now get your bítch àss on
 
Are we really having this conversation? Yep, Dawson took a potion two weeks ago and forgot how to call plays with TEs involved. The reason WHY targets has dropped for TEs is because )1They've been needed in the blocking game, especially in the run game, which has gotten a lot more burn lately due to how defenses have played this O and 2)Cam has been more about pushing the ball downfield, and he's neglected some of the short stuff that allowed Arroyo to eat early in the season.

Even with that, Dawson has tried to get Arroyo targets, whether it is the TE screens and drags that are money on early downs or in the case of the winning TD against Cal, leveraging the run game to get Arroyo in a one on one situation.

we’re gonna see a lot of hero ball from cam
Bc Dawson doesn’t exploit mismatches
Or schemes to create them

The thing is you aren’t stopping elite teams this day and age of cfb. It’s about getting the stops when you have to

You seem to be more interested in winning an argument than understanding what I said. I understand 100% what you’re trying to say - get Arroyo the ball more. I’m saying that the defensive schemes coupled with less plays are the reasons we can’t/don’t. You want to keep arguing your point without acknowledging that what I’ve pointed out - several times now - is the reason why we have not gotten him the ball more, therefore continuing any debate over the matter is pointless. Additionally, we already have a historically great offense.

The Carolina part was because I assumed you’re from Carolina because 252 is a Carolina area code. The other half of what I said was a joke - get over it bro. No need for direct messages We are both Canes after all.

Last week, FSU played a soft deep cover 2 and dropped 5-6 all night. That screams RUN THE BALL to the OC, which we did....EXTREMELY EFFECTIVELY. Were we supposed to force the pass into that coverage in order to get EA, EL and RW more targets?

And what you don’t understand is you get your best guys the ball period. I don’t care about winning no argument. You don’t go without at least trying to get one of your top weapons involved. Cam is averaging 35 pass attempts per game. He had exactly 35 attempts vs fsu. TEs has had success vs fsu defense. Cal had the most passing yards vs fsu this year and the TE was the 2nd leading receiver. Memphis had the 2nd most yards and the TE was the leading wr. Smu TE had 2tds vs fsu. You see a common theme here?

And that other shït all I’m gone say is y’all guys on the internet are way too comfortable with getting slick out the mouth behind screens. I don’t mind talking ball with anybody but when you get to being disrespectful that’s when I get ignant
