The shine is wearing off...

Fake hate news. Not many teams could have done what the canes did in the last 2 games.

Ok , great topic would recommend. I have read some , none of which hold your awesome opinion. I figured this is exactly how it would be. Don't. Be a thunder **** and make an argument and don't present anything other than your own agenda. Lol stop
Where did I say it was my opinion.

Feels like 2017 when we had back to back miracles against FSU and GT. We limp ****ed a few more games after that but eventually hit our stride against VT, ND, and UVA

Had back to back bye’s week 2-3 (week 2 hurricane cancellation) and likely ran out of gas and it wasn’t that great of a roster. The bye week should give us more longevity if we can regroup and hit a stride at some point.
We also had key injuries down the stretch starting with Richards.

Pretty interesting to read the various sites. Miami is "sliding down", "not a playoff team", "bailed out", "reckless QB play". Clemson is "clearly the more complete team".

Will be interesting to see how they respond after a week off.
I was taught at a very crucial time in my life, when I was playing victim, that “The best revenge is success.” To our players, I’d say, just focus, play your game, let the wins follow. Win and the world’s sphincters will unclench.

I get everyone wants to compare this team to a previous Miami team, but there isn't a good comparison and 2017 is especially bad because it's a very different dynamic at QB.

If you want a good comparison, it's 2022 TCU imo. That team had elite QB play and an explosive offense with an average defense and won a bunch of close games. And if the defense plays up to its potential, then 2023 Washington might be a comparison too.

I heard a national analyst (Pate maybe?) compare us to them

Maybe we mirror Ohio State the year they beat Miami on a flag. We're sneaky good. The defense has the talent and I believe it will improve through the end of the season.

Clemson looked extremely average against FSU.
Yup, Memphis looked more dominating against the same FSU team…

Interesting that we “struggled against” two winning P4 teams in back to back weeks and get negative press while Clemson has a loss and struggled to beat a 5 loss FSU team starting a freshmen QB

Am I the only one who's as concerned with SMU as everyone else seems to be about Clemson?

This team has a chance to show it is NOT like the 2017 team and teams of the past decade. Take the bye week and heal up. Come out and start fast at lousville. Win after the bye.

2022 TCU makes a ton of sense

My only comparison to 2017 was the back to back wins by miracle and then hoping we hit a stride similar to VT and ND where we play our best ball and blow some teams out

You can't say it isn't deserving. I expected this team to be 6-0, but not like this. We have weaknesses which we knew. Our weaknesses against this schedule shouldn't be 2 refs calls from 4-2. We shouldn't be giving up 34 and 38 points to VT and Cal. The staff is not putting this team in the best position to win in my opinion, weaknesses and all. Regardless, we are already bowl eligible. I will keep enjoying the success, but I have unexpectedly started questioning winning the ACC. That would be a complete failure with this roster and schedule. ACC Champs and a playoff berth. I never expected anything more.
People say this and then forget that regardless of talent, matchups matter most in football. We just did not match up well against Cal and VT, nothing more nothing less. Bama, who every pundit and reporter will tell you is a Natty contender just lost to Vandy. Fact is we could have lost those two games, like Bama did, like Ten did, like ole Miss did, like USC did and like Michigan did. Great teams find a way to win those games.

Crazy how everyone is hyping Clemsons defense and they're ranked 80th and ours is 17th

Do we have issues to fix? Yes

Is Clemson the team to beat? **** no

We beat them last year with EMORY

Watching the FSU game, Clemson still has a QB problem. Cade looked like the Cade from last season.

Btw everybody got Miami vs Clemson in the ACC title game. Watch out for SMU, their ACC schedule is the easiest out of the 3

the love for clemson now is wild

they beat powerhouses like app state, NC state, and FSU and now they are getting picked to represent the ACC

lmao
