Still early but the main big difference is we have a difference maker at qb. In 2017 we had a game manager that was inaccurate as ****. So we have a punchers chance every week. But we’re flirting with danger.

Struggled with a 3 win unc team and a 4 win Syracuse and eventually lost to 5 win pitt
 
You can't say it isn't deserving. I expected this team to be 6-0, but not like this. We have weaknesses which we knew. Our weaknesses against this schedule shouldn't be 2 refs calls from 4-2. We shouldn't be giving up 34 and 38 points to VT and Cal. The staff is not putting this team in the best position to win in my opinion, weaknesses and all. Regardless, we are already bowl eligible. I will keep enjoying the success, but I have unexpectedly started questioning winning the ACC. That would be a complete failure with this roster and schedule. ACC Champs and a playoff berth. I never expected anything more.

The only thng I want to see polished and shined is the next Crystal Football trophy we put behind glass in Hecht.... and my **** once in a while, but that's a different story.

I don't give a F what "they" say about us. Why do they hate us? Cuz we are phvcking Miami, with awesome beaches, hot bee-otches, dance parties, cocaine, great weather, great culture, great nightife. If you've ever traveled outside of the 305, you'll quickly see how much of America does not live like that. If you've traveled to the Midwest, you'll clearly understand why the immense jealousy exists for Miami. To put it plainly, the Midwest is pretty much the **** of America with a very few exceptions. So imagine growing up in Southern Indiana, surrounded by corn your whole life and running into the same Beckys and Berthas at the local watering hole for years after working with the same goobers you went to high school with who, just like you, never amounted to a hill of mierda. Contrast that to the flash, panache, and glory of The U with a sprinkling of good ole fashioned racism and it becomes easier to understand the hate.

'Who are the Canes to be in the playoffs?? They played a weak schedule. They got lucky and barely beat lesser opponents. This playoff team is gonna kill them.'

Clemson has played one team with a pulse, and they were laughed out of the building. IMO, VT would give Clemson just as much of a game as they did us.
 
Can’t say I’m unconcerned about UL. We’ve done poorly after Bye weeks. UL has a coach that makes defenses pay.
Hopefully Cam can pick up the slack for the D.

I know we've beaten this word to **** but the "Rat Poison" well running dry never hurt anyone.
