The scary thing

The Florida game we played a great defense, we didn't turn the ball over and our defense played amazing and created turnovers. That was a complete game.

No, we didn't rack up 500+ yards...but ya know what, that's not the team we are against good defenses. Morris is turnover prone, Duke is injury prone, and while our OL and WR's are very solid, currently there isn't an overwhelming guy who can/will take over games. I think people have overvalued who we are as a team.

I can see why you would think it was a complete game but if you think about how hot we started on offense and where we finished it is not consistent. Our special teams also gave up points by allowing a blocked punt.

Once again, you're overvaluing who we are as a team. If we kept on playing the style we did in the 1st quarter, Morris throws multiple picks. We definitely changed our playing style after we got the lead, and there's a **** good reason why. The coaches know what they have in Morris, and they've been trying to develop him further, but the Florida game was not the time to do so. We're a good team, but we aren't a great team. There's zero evidence that we are.

The fact that we haven't played a complete game is not a good thing - it's an indictment. We can keep hoping that we'll clean up the turnovers and explosive plays on defense, but there's really nothing that should lead us to believe that we'll all of a suddenly start playing perfect, crisp games and blow people out of the water.

Law of averages actually states that we won't stay on the turnover pace we're at (4 per game).

We'd better hope so because that's a sure-fire way to lose to FSU and VT. Talent, depth, toughness and experience aren't an issue at this juncture. Discipline, focus, trusting the process - that's where we need to improve.

While everyone else was crying about coaching in the uf.ag game, I thought it was a stroke of brilliance to shut Morris down the way we did and force uf.ag to try to beat us with their offense. As the season has progressed, it's looking smarter and smarter that they took the game out of Morris's hands.

Morris threw a pick to VH III that he almost took the house if it wasn't for him stepping out of bounds. Morris once again came hot in that game and then vanished. He has to pull his head from his *** and if he doesn't he needs to be sat and allow Williams to do his thing.

Unless we lose the next 3 - 4 games and he throws 10+ picks in those losses, golden al is riding Morris.

He made duke take 2nd team snaps after the USF fumbles, I wonder if he stayed consistent and demoted SM if only in practice

He is late with all his throws, and hence why we get owned by better defenses. Footwork is a mess, and decision making is not strong either. The good news is that every 10-15 he will make an All Pro throw. Cant deny that the ankle is hampering him, but even when healthy lets not act like this guy was any amazing. It just is what it is.....
If anything the hype he has gotten has made him a bit worse. This guy has yet to show out against a defense with a pulse. Here is to FSU being that first game. Cheers
