The Past Decade: Revealed

WHO CARES !!.

Somebody who cares about the truth. So certainly not you.

The fanboys make all kinds of ridiculous claims that are counter to reality.

We lose because we're soft (a team that had 20+ come from behind wins).
We lose because we played the best competition (a team that won the most games against the top 25).

These are simply nonsense arguments. They can't be taken seriously by anybody.

have you not realized yet that doesn't mean dyck unless you do something in Omaha??

As a typical hysterical, unhinged fanboy would say.

We have one of the best teams in the country for 62 games (4 months) but they lost 2 games in 3 days in Omaha and now they're what? Losers? Nothing they did meant' 'dyck' all year?

Seriously.

Get a hold of yourself.

or the stupid national seeds you love so much( which wouldn't matter if the postseason is "random" anyways )

You're still on this?

Comical.
'
The fanboys are so observably stupid that they don't understand randomness or why national seeds matter.

Amazing.

when the goal is to win a national championship, not just get there.

If your expectation is to win the national championship in college baseball then I can't help you.

You don't even understand how silly that is.

You will continue to look like a buffoon when Arizona or Coastal Carolina or Fresno State or Virginia keep winning this thing.

He's giving substantial weight to the games that determine the national champion? NO SHT.

But he's doing it stupidly.
LMAO...Fister Roboto strikes again.

I make a good point, but per the supercuntputer, it's moot because I'm doing it "stupidly". WTF does that even mean? Takes a twisted mind to make claims like that.

I think we can all summarily dismiss any of this cat's posts going forward. No need to take up any more of his time...he's got Poisson distributions waiting that aren't going to fap to themselves.

except his teams somehow play their worst baseball of the year

You could take any two games from any sample size and get an 0-2 result like we had in Omaha this year.

Your conclusion is that we play our worst baseball of the year in Omaha instead of the truth. Which is we just played two bad games in those three days.

It's not 2 games. It's about 10 games at Omaha since '01 and I'm pretty sure we played bad baseball in 2 of the wins. We also played badly in the first game against LBS and the second game against BC before Omaha but you wouldn't know because you've never played. Keep reaching bud.

Dude, YOU don't even know how ridiculous you sound

You know what's the difference between those four clubs from ours this year?? they played their best baseball in the postseason and you keep failing to grasp that concept

Morris plays with 4.87 less elite players than the state schools because UM has 4.87 less scholarship-money to give out than a public institution. At Vandy all (100%) of students that need aid receive it, so they can counter in baseball with that. Stanford has 900 scholarships available for athletes versus ~300 for UM. Rice awards 57% of the student body a scholarships equal to at least 66% of the tuition.

Morris should win his Super Regionals ~45% of the time and is actually batting 90%.

Morris has won 2 National Championships.

During 2015 and 2016, Morris produced the 2nd best team in the nation.

What is your problem? Morris is at his best right now. I would like to see him stick around for longer, frankly.

I wonder if #3 had expectations to win the national title at the start of the season or say after the Super Regionals?

I have read this thread it in its entirety. Jagr owned the thread, doesn't matter if you all hate him or not. He's right

You are wrong (and Coastal Carolina's win last night proves it). Morris, Di Mare and Arteaga are at the top of their game right now. You had a strong point during July 2013, but now you are simply being moronic. I actually think that they will 1-2 national championships over the next 5 years. They are rolling right now.

I get the feeling that some of the randomness crowd watching a baseball game goes something like this:

"Wow! The home team took the field first. So random. I can't believe they're lined up like that...3 outfielders, 2 middle infielders, 1 each at 1st/3rd/home...and what's that dude doing on the mound? Oh...HE'S the pitcher? That's just random...he could have lined up out by the foul pole, really. Just shows exactly how random this game can be..."

"What's that guy doing with that metal stick? What's the helmet for? OHHHHHH....he's the batter. Wonder where he's gonna go. Why's he going to the plate? That's odd. Must have been a coin flip between home plate and the hot dog stand."

Morris has not won two national championships, proponent. He has benefited from a random error. Your words. There is nothing credible about winning a national title.

This speaks volumes. If Jim and Gino aren't spending this summer trying to figure out how to win the national championship, then fire everyone. Today.

They have to be trolling. No one in their right minds would say they don't want to win a national title. Furthermore at the U, it IS the EXPECTATION to win titles.

You had a point until June 2013. By June 2014, your point was weak due to Morris' past history and his decision to bring back di Mare. Coaching staff is rolling right now.

Arteaga would kill it at FIU, but he did not even bother interviewing. Part of the reason is that he probably sees some great years ahead at UM.

Not a single detractor on this site understands basic probabilities. One of the detractors just now decided that "a bell-hop delivered the most cogent and insightful analysis of the thread." That tells me all that I need to know.

73% of the country does not possess a 4-year degree, so these responses do not surprise me.
