The Pacific is Miami territory

No doubt Cristobal's time in Oregon was a huge factor in landing those kids. I just wonder him being on the east coast now will this be a one-year deal.

Every top school recruits nationally, & kids pay attention. He handles biz on the field, get these young men drafted in the first 3 rounds w/ consistency, we’ll have no problem w/ continuing to be attractive nationally, imo.

I remember people questioning his recruiting lol
Only people that don't know what they are talking about would do that (or people that haven't done their research).

Mario is a recruiting machine (a highly effective one) and his entire staff has a great blend of extremely strong recruiters (with virtually every region of the country covered by one at least one staff member with strong ties in that region) who also happen to be very strong at Xs & Os and player development. With continued support from the right people, this staff will continue to crush it on the recruiting trail.

Doubt it but even if that’s the case, we will be fine. Next year our presence with the Florida kids will be that much stronger because he will have had a year of forging relationships on the east coast. Mario is just a recruiting Titan.

He is not gonna just ditch the west coast but he may start dipping into Bama, UGA, Louisiana more. As well as going up and down the entire east coast line. The kids that are young in So FL now or even just Florida are gonna be the next Waynes and not just be like Innis and them man.

How long before a narrative pops up that Mario doesn't want local kids and prefers national?

I know better, but I see this coming sooner than later.

Tbh if he recruiting like this who gives af. That narrative mattered more with the limitations of Mandy and Goldie because they couldn't croot. Mario can go to California, Washington and Texas and pluck studs not just projects.

As someone mentioned before, when we were great, there was a mix of local and national.

I can see this narrative created to try to spite his success.

Hope the local kids can see that what's in Coral Gables is way different than it's been in quite some time and they can appreciate and be a part of it. Because Mario won't be slowed or bothered with his ability to go anywhere in the country or abroad.

SC will dominate the west coast but there are always kids that want to get away, and we can be that school. There is a ton of talent out there that should not be ignored, talent that he served us real well in the past.
