The OC Candidates Thread

I get it, but the suggestion that a 33 y/o who has been calling plays for 1 year is national-championship-caliber is a stretch because he doesn't have a history of doing that just yet.

Ony two OC's call plays in a NC game yearly. That means 20 total in the past 10 years. No OC has called plays more than twice in a NC game in that span. So considering Riley has now done it himself, yes he now has a history of doing that since it is a rare feat.

Guess you can take Hartline off. And for the CIS porsters......McVay is no longer available.

Random but, besides his last 2 games at South Carolina & PJ Walker's last 2 seasons at Temple, Marcus Satterfield's resume is mostly mediocre. We can always do worse lol (Gattis is still bottom of the barrel tho)

Is Raiola related to the QB?

Nicely played by Rhule. Let’s see if it works out and they land him.

Not as old as I thought so possible
It’s an interesting situation because he is still is still a good coach and not too old, but he has already retired once from coaching. Really depends on how much he enjoyed his year at Boise, and the level of commitment the next job he potentially takes requires
