@SWFLHurricane is a straight shooter. He provides great information that is provided to him, he doesn't add in his own editorial takes on it.

But some porsters on this board leap to HUGE and unwarranted conclusions every time they get a tiny morsel of information.

I am blessed, I can reach out to some folks and ask them questions. But I also don't go nuts on the board with crazy theories and blanket assumptions based on one tweet.

Some of y'all need to learn how to scrutinize information better...

There's been some good comedy on this thread, but I totally agree - I'm grateful for SWFLHurricane and his willingness to share what he's hearing.

Why do these guys all love Coley so much? He was horrible when he was here and Texas A&M's offense was almost as bad as our's last year. I get that Jimbo is likely running the offense there but still. I don't want to hear about his legendary recruiting prowess. Mario has that covered. We need someone who can actually run an offense.

absolutely. Just watched the Rose Bowl game vs FSU. Man, the power running game is exactly what Mario wants.

there are two spots left. the OC is going to have to coach either QBs or WRs. i prefer to have a dedicated WR coach, so we need an OC/QB coach IMO

I would guess if it is Frost we could have a very favorable deal to protect ourselves and high upside for him to stay on the straight and narrow. Assuming he wants to coach and change. I’m sure we could get him for under $1m with many outs on the clause with Booz and other stuff. Give him incentives to get to 1.5 or so.
If we are in negotiations as said, a contract for him would be difficult to put together thus what is taking so long. Who knows. Fun to guess.
