Dishwasher is one of the most important positions in a kitchen from an operational standpoint.
That being said, the summary of the Ferman segment doesn't say that the staff are asking questions. Just they are present while the candidates present their offense and response to diff scenarios. I would imagine that whoever is leading the interview (most likely Mario) is presenting the scenarios and not the staff firing off random questions. But that is pure speculation.
