If this happens it’ll be unbearable for Maude’s here.

It’s not 2010. There’s a reason he’s at South Alabama and his career trajectory has went from Alabama OC to South Alabama OC over 15 years.

He runs exactly what Mario wants to run. Not surprised the least bit. The dude can’t get out of his own way to hire an OC with a pulse.
Imagine failing so badly in year one on the coaching side, having another chance with all the cash to spend and going back to the same dry well for more water when there’s a clean flowing river the same distance away.

Look dude I like you and think you’re a great poster. I happen to believe there’s value in getting the new offensive playbook in the hands of the players as soon as possible. An opinion I shared privately with other posters in a DM before I ever heard that Flo had said the same thing.

You clearly disagree with that. No problem, doesn’t bother me at all. However, if you’re going to insult me and throw shade at me in other post then you can **** off and EAD.

TRick, we're talking about practice, respectfully.

They claim they have names that they haven’t been given the go ahead to talk about
Gaby is at least just a young kid who is trying to make relationships on the trail. David Lake comes across as the most pompous prick ever and it’s obvious he doesn’t have a single source. He also is also pretending he breaks down the film lol like come on bud we hear your analysis.

We like to say that Mario is a CEO type + recruiter but IMO Mario actually thinks he is an offensive-minded coach. When viewed through that lens it makes sense that he scrutinizes the OC hire more than he does the defense. For better or worse (spoiler alert: for worse) he has a specific idea of what he wants on offense. I think he is more open minded to trying new things on defense.
Not to discredit your opinion, but opinions on Mario are based on what we see in his actions. I’ve never heard him refer to himself as CEO or offensive minded. Him having an affinity for offense is easy to peg him with being he played OT and is heavily involved in coaching OL’s.

Is it possible Mario is interviewing candidates for analyst positions?
This very well could be why how ever many are apparently roaming the halls of Hecht. Interviewing Applewhite for an analyst or position coach position would make sense for both parties.
