Should be announced by the school not by anyone on a message board. IMO Both hires are good ones.

I'm not even asking you to reveal the name. But what is the reasoning behind not saying who the person is if it is done? What could possibly be ruined if it leaks on a board?

Fairly easy solution. Ask D$ (or whatever trusted poster/mod) to agree to not open your DM. Post the name. Once it’s announced officially they can open the email and see if you’re right.

Only risk is someone breaking their word. Just for instance, I would never open the email if I said I wouldn’t. I’d be just as curious to see if you were right.

Dude, I can’t and would not break something said in confidence. I am not looking to for any street cred. Love school and just happen to know something. I think the selections mimic the quality of the Guidry hire.
