If @JayCane20 was right about Dorsey then I have to think Shea Tierney is extremely high on Mario’s list. It fits Mario and what people are saying about him. Shea was an analyst at Bama when he was at Bama, if he wanted Dorsey to call plays then he must think the world of Daboll and Shea is Daboll’s QB coach, Shea has done wonders for Jones, Shea was even part of the Eagles and worked for Doug Pederson/Andy Reid.

He fits what Mario is looking for.

I believe I was the first one who mentioned Tierney weeks ago. Have not heard much on him since, but be would be a great hire. I did here his name from

I have some bad news for you...

The OC is not already hired...sadly...

Might still happen soon, but not yet.
I know nothing, but I would find it really hard to believe these three are OC interviews. It would be mystifying if Zo and Mario, in consultation with one of the best ADs in the country and with a top of market budget, are bringing in guys of this caliber for OC interviews.

Just reading some tea leaves, it would also explain why Lake had the green light to run with these names and not others. These strike me as QB or WR coach/passing game coordinator types. Johns or Littrell with Streeter at QBs or something of that nature would make more sense.

I didn't say that they were all OC interviews, but Mario has definitely gone in the wrong direction of overthinking things in the last few days.

Time to throw a bag o' cash at Kevin Johns.

Dont’ know. Maybe not for that season. But what did they do the other seasons?

Analytic models are great. I agree there can be outliers that require even more context. Injuries. Maybe you played 4 games that year in the snow. Etc.

But when you’re making those arguments over the entire course of a career, that you‘ve lost me. As I tell clients, ‘If you’re explaining, you’re losing.“

And it just seems like every OC on the list have a whole lot of seasons that need some explaining.
You must be a big James Coley fan since he grades out well with OF+

Good lord. Is Mario such a god like figure that nobody can step in and simplify things for him?
