You do realize that it was at FIU, where they had to pickup used football pads that Miami was getting rid of, because they lacked funds...

Let's not talk like he was coaching even pathetic ACC level talent

Big ******* deal. It's not like they were playing against ACC level talent either.

They played Littrell's North Texas and got stomped.

At F-ing FIU....His Offense last yr did better than ours vs MTSU.....His Utah St offense averaged 50pts a game in 2017....Please Stop.....

That is a weak *** argument. FIU didn't play the same schedule Miami did. They played against teams at their same talent level. I know what he did at Utah St., but his offense sucked last year. Bottom Line.

Why do we consistently say a coach has been putting numbers with less talent. Miami has had no significant offensive high round draftees in years and few in any round. There are dozens of Group of 5 schools with better, recent draft results. Perhaps an OC coming here would be trying to do it with lesser talent.
That's my the point. If he has a history of doing numbers with less talent, then that's great, cause guess what? Right now, we are the "less". If the guy can do numbers with less talent, imagine what he can do when if/when we get back to having draftable talent at every position.

4 CFB QBs who Yost coached went into the 1st round of the NFL Draft..His Offense broke records not only at Utah St....but also at Missouri in both Passing and Rushing. Go Google David Yost Football, and tell me Littrell has a better resume.

I mean I see what you're saying, but North Texas (outside of a 4th round WR in 2021) hasn't had a player drafted since 2004. Safe to say that this doesn't apply here lol.

Explain the Brian Johnson hype to me like I’m 5.
Been wondering about this as well. I'm not saying I'm against him but I would like to better understand why some are calling it a "homerun". Obviously his credentials are bolstered by being QB coach for a Super Bowl team but his body of work prior to this year doesn't jump off the page as a slam dunk OC hire.
