If @JayCane20 was right about Dorsey then I have to think Shea Tierney is extremely high on Mario’s list. It fits Mario and what people are saying about him. Shea was an analyst at Bama when he was at Bama, if he wanted Dorsey to call plays then he must think the world of Daboll and Shea is Daboll’s QB coach, Shea has done wonders for Jones, Shea was even part of the Eagles and worked for Doug Pederson.

He fits what Mario is looking for.
Isn't Mike Kafka the main one working with Jones? Him and Daboll

QB has put up NUMBERS, ran ball well at previous stops.

He’s an OC with recency much Guidry. I like it.

Candle, Frost, Littrell, Arroyo have all been several years removed from Coordinator. Maybe that’s not a big deal.

Mike Ryan dropped his name to to his super followers. I don’t subscribe but had it passed along.

Kafka is the OC. Tierney is the guy working with him day in and out.

Guy has been around Andy Reid, Doug Pederson, and Brian Daboll. If you’re going to try and flip this O and turn around TVD then Shea is my guy.
Interesting I thought it was all a big collaborate effort between the 3.

Intriguing option. I'd be surprised to see Mario go that direction.

He is another guy that doesn't coach QBs and he really doesn't have a true QB coach that sticks with him but it's an easier system to plug in a QB coach and get results. His QB coach from 2022 is an OL guy by trade and moved to QBs ahead of 2022 - now coaching OL at Cal.

If we hire Littrell, I'm reworking the staff so that he's not a position coach and can spend all the time he needs with the QB and QB coach
Like I said Litrell+Coley+ a WR coach like Wes Welker. Now idk how good Welker is but He played under Leach, and was WR coach under Shanahan and McDaniels… so if he wants to be an OC at some point this would be a good option imo…

Hous
mixed with Mario’s offensive lines he would be very good for us.. I’m a UH grad and I’m there in a lot of my free time. We couldn’t block me if I lined up in a wide 9. His scheme and feel is pretty good. Dana will butt in sometimes and it’s noticeable but when we’re rolling it’s usually coach
Houston significantly underperformed relative to expectations this past season. They were supposed to be a NY6 candidate. Tune regressed.

Idk much about the guy, but this past season doesn’t make my cack hard.

Wes Welker isn't leaving Mike McDaniel unless it's a OC job, that's his boy and he's got an easy WR Coaching gig with Waddle and Hill
