The NFL is peeing on your face

Idk man. I was 9 when Brady started his ****. Kinda sick of watching greatness.
Since 2000 we saw:

17 out of 19 AFC East titles for the Patriots, including 11 straight.

9 straight AFC West titles for the Chiefs

8 consecutive AFC Championship Game appearances for the Patriots. 7 straight (currently) for the Chiefs.

The NFL has become the most dynastic sport of all the major leagues, and in an sport that really promotes parity it seems almost statically impossible.

Prior to 2000, no NFL team had ever made it to more than 5 consecutive conference championships, and it only happened twice. And even in the 49ers dominant run from 1981 - 1996 they never won the NFC West more than four consecutive times.

I’m definitely losing interest. Dolphins franchise is a complete joke and I have a hard time taking the NFL serious when it’s a penalty to hit the QB but at the same time teams use them as a missile in order to gain 1 foot.
Think of two divisions. The Patriots so dominated the AFC East for two decades that they probably depressed the fan bases permanently for the Dolphins and the Jets. Two decades of division wins is unheard of in the NFL.

And then there’s the AFC West. The Chiefs have won the division for nearly a decade now. What realistic hope is there for the Broncos, Raiders, or Chargers.

In both scenarios, it is literally a waiting game for the dominant team to have their quarterback retire.

Nah, we getting our lick back, Philly is ending this **** in 2 weeks.
@Dwinstitles , @Angry Ibis - your responses?

I just remember someone in this site saying Walton was better than Barkley. That’s all I think about when I see Saquon and laugh a little inside at how fried you have to be to think that. It was retarded then and still retarded today
Was that Mara and your GM...

Just playing cuz but thanks from us Eagles fans!

Absolutely not lol.

Thank you for the stats. Very interesting.

IMO, mainly due to 2 reasons:

1. Offenses run through the QB in this era more than any other era in history. In the '80's, teams whose offenses were run-first (or who became run-first in the SB) were able to win the SB without HOF play at the QB position - NYG twice, Washington twice, and Chicago.

2. The evolution of rules protecting QBs and the strictness of enforcement have made QB injuries less in severity and frequency. The slide rule has been around since the late '80's, but only 1 step allowed to hit a QB after release of the ball, no hits below the knee, no shots to the head, etc. Brady had one season lost to injury (one of the years they didn't win the AFC East). Compared to Montana, Simms, Theismann, and McMahon back in the day who all could not finish at least one season due to injury in their careers.

I hate the Chiefs even more than I hate the Bills, but that third down spot was right on the money. When his elbow hit he was short.

I think Allen probably had the first on the sneak, but it was very close. The guy at the top probably had the best view, so I am not sure why the guy at the bottom gets to make the spot. He could not even see the location of the ball so its mystifying that he would have the spot. View attachment 318782
You'd make a great ACC ref

Just regular old Mahomes/Reid greatness
Doesn’t matter if Mahone is in Super Bowl or not , don’t care in making Mahone richer or any one else , soon CFB with paying children 10’s of millions a year .

Charge $150 dollars a ticket plus $50 for a beer getting close to just doing my CIS and listening to radio .

Were there reciprocal calls for the Bills too?

Again I didn’t watch it, but it’s fun to see da internet after Chefs play games 😂

Supa Boe? Iz dat da thang in between all those ****** commercials?

Luv ya CIB!

That was such a a bad call.... How much more clearly did they need to see the ball hit the ground???...
There was also play earlier on a kickoff where the Chiefs made a nice return while there were two clear push in the backs that took place and nothing was called....

1. When you're a ****** team, you don't get any calls.

2. The NFL has an educated interest in Patrick Mahomes winning as many games as he can.

Listen, I've seen the difference between a good and a ****** Patriots team. We got breaks, there's no debating it. But the Chiefs are being notoriously favored every single game. It's not even funny at this point.

There's no point watching the games rn. We all know what happens next. Brady at least needed to play at a superhuman level to win tight games, Mahomes can just bet on Kelce getting a call for flopping.

Nope. I'm an Eagles fan but I have hated the NFL for the last 5 years. Won't even bother watching. I told everyone that would listen for the past week that I wasn't going to watch the AFC title game because I knew exactly what was going to happen. I said Chiefs by 3 end of story. Look what happened lol. Don't waste your time watching this rigged garbage.

I’ll add that increase of player movement has also helped spark this change.

And the biggest culprti is crappy owners, from Cowboys to Jets to Giants and previously Redskins and a bunch mrore that I’m not mentioning. I’ve never watched, but the NFL needs a relegation system similiar to soccer.

This post made me think of a song from an old Stone Temple Pilots album , Tiny Music... Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop. There’s a line in the song, Art School Girl where the late great , Scott Weiland screams out, I told you 5 or 4 times.. I told you 5 or 4 times over and over again.

That’s kind of how I feel when I tell people I think the NFL is rigged. To me it’s so obvious the league is rigged. Watching the NFL is really no different than watching the WWE these days.
