We should be honest: he has built the best o-line I've seen at Miami in three years since the glory days. We are loaded at QB, RB, WR, TE, etc. Our kicking and punting games are excellent. Our DL has plenty of talent. But IDK WTF he is doing in the back seven. We have no talent back there minus some of the young guys.

This is nonsense. We’re not loaded at wr. We don’t even have a difference maker at that position.

We also don’t have an elite edge rusher.

Not loaded at qb either. Judd will probably never play here. Linebacker has been a joke for over a decade. Safety is lol.

No difference maker at WR? Seriously? We don't have the most productive WR in Miami history on the roster? Along with Horton, George, and even Sam Brown? That's four WRs better than most ACC teams.

We also have one elite TE, two good youngins, and one solid veteran depth guy. What more can be expected in 2024?

We have an elite edge, he just had a bad year due to injury/weight gain. Last year Bain was the best freshman edge in the country or close. Baron, Mesidor, and Alston are also good to really good.

We have 3 QBs that are better than most other teams we play: one superstar and two solid backups. These days, that is a good haul and keep.

When he fails here, it will be due to game day coaching & roster management. I would say game day coaching more than anything.

It’s not a question of if but of when. This recruiting and portal class I believe will go a long way in determining that date.

We have to go all-in on the best DC we can get, and then get the top DB assistant to pair with him.

We also NEED a QB for next year, and if that requires an OC upgrade, do it as well (even though I think Dawson is above average).

It is a must to maximize staff improvement with the fewest moves possible. We won't survive otherwise. CFB is a perpetual immediate-term arms race now, and you have to do it every year.

I Think the young edge rushers have the potential to feast here in the next couple yrs with the right DC they're talented AF (Lightfoot, Pickett, Rudolph) Mario just needs to hit on a DC something he's failed to do so far but theres no denying the floor has been lifted overall in terms of talent, the young DL he got to commit last 2 cylces have massive potential/talent.

Urban Myer is not walking through them doors. All we can do is hope for a good DC. We know Mario will attack the roster.

No the loss stopped a lot of people from drinking the mario/CIS koolaid. He'll I think even CIS have put their glasses down now. No more putting lipstick on a pig.

I’ll be watching the QB and DC positions over the off season. I’m interested to see how he handles it. I’m rooting for Mario to win because frankly, he’s not going anywhere. The schedule is tougher next season.

I honestly feel like the interview should matter very little unless they do something so insanely good or bad in it. Otherwise, you should be about 95% of the way towards knowing who you want just based on watching how their units have done and word of mouth from your network.
