The more I think about taking a post season ban

Anyone saying NOT to take a postseason ban is looking way too short term.

Taking the ban this year is the biggest no-brainer of all time.

Not trolling at all. It would be a mistake of similar proportions to the Randy Shannon extension to NOT take the ban.

Now, if the letter that was sent today says otherwise, then obviously the plan changes. But based on everything we've heard in the past year, taking the ban is a no-brainer.

I'm with rok on this one bowl ban or not. That rah rah **** is great but it isn't reality right now.

If the kids pull together and go out with a big 4 game winning streak, you have to give them the reward of an ACCCG and a potential BCS bowl. They deserve it.

If we back into the ACCCG through Duke losing and we finish the season 7-5 or 6-6, then we self impose.

Its easy for us fans to say "take the emotion out of it". While that may be wise I'm sure that's a lot tougher for the coaches who live and breathe with these guys every day. Can't say I envy them especially since they weren't really involved.

Take the bowl ban. Its better to over self-impose than under impose. You guys always say the NCAA hates Miami blah blah, now it's we are skating nothing will happen.

There is no guarantee the punishment will be ANY less severe if we self impose this year. Sure, it may help, but we did the same last year at what point is it just yeah whatever. Our supposed flawless cooperation should do more for the ncaa than us giving up the russell athletic bowl.

I think the point is that giving up the Russell Athletic Bowl is worth it to attempt to appease the NCAA further.

Oh I didn't know we already lost the ACCCG. I get why you are so craven and have already accepted a second loss against FSU. They just destroyed VT convincingly tonight after we hardly beat them a week ago. Oh wait. It's the other way.

Win 6 games and take the ****ing bowl ban. This team does not deserve to go to an acc title game. The players don't care (getting suspended before such a big game) the coaches need to figure out what the **** they are doing.

The team does not deserve an extra game, a bowl, or an acc title. Pathetic. I am done with this year.

I will be at the next two games but any energy I had for this program has once again been sucked out in the month of November.

Pathetic on the players. Pathetic on the suspended guys. Pathetic on the coaching. Pathetic. Pathetic.
