Off-Topic The Melting Pot: a Food Thread

for orlando, I actually like antonellas in winter park, brads underground for deep dish, and park pizza in lake nona airport area.

for miami, I haven't gotten to joes yet but I can't imagine it being as good as the NYC original, but andiamos is still one of my favorites, Steves for a late night slice
I’ll have to try those for pizza. Have you had Brazilian pizza before?

once but only at some spot on international drive. ill give it another shot at the spot you recommended next time
The pizza named pie-fection is what I usually go with. It’s steak with catupiri cheese and is great.

Saw some quick write up not too long ago that F$U is where receivers have been going to die. I think it was even before Prison Mike arrived.
There is a reason FSU and Clemson both had nobody in the top 20 last year, poor QB play. Good QB/OL play still matters to WR production…

That's not entirely true...some outstanding food spots in Fl.....but yes, as a whole, food up north is on a completely different level.
Completely depends on where you're talking. There aren't a lot of great restaurants between NYC and Boston, mostly chains and mediocre diner types.

Pizza in Fl is toilet water compared to the N.E..... the water in Fl is pure trash....hence the Pizza dough being crap. Even Miami Pizza that everyone raves about is so-so...
Lucali is the best I’ve had down in Miami Beach, and of course the original is up in NY. Probably fair to assume they bring their dough from up there.

I gotta find a Wawa someday. A sheetz visit on the way to IL and back to NY when I make those trips is always a must for me.

Damnit I want fried cheese curds now

Stop the insanity.....Yanks are afraid of seasoning??....What kind of retarded **** is that??....Lol at Southern Food is King......
honestly, the blandest food ive had is actually cuban food in terms of seasoning and im brown - we overdo it on seasoning if anything lol.

also, chefs come from all over and open up shops in those cities. doesn't mean they were born there.

southern food meaning cajun or southern food meaning actual southern food? bc eh pass on the traditional southern food but cajun food is good

I hated it compared to the Brooklyn outpost. the dough isnt the same and they're not shipping it down here frozen like SWFL said. the water in Florida is just horrendous for anything related to bread
